Zendaya's fans say she 'deserves better' than Jacob Elordi, here's a look at her dating history

After Jacob Elordi and Kaia Gerber’s dinner date pictures went viral, fans began showering Zendaya with their support with many saying that she deserves better

'Euphoria' co-stars Jacob Elordi and Zendaya have had dating rumors going around for a while now. However, the romance between the actors seems to have come to an end after Elordi was recently spotted with model Kaia Gerber. The 'Kissing Booth' actor was photographed on a dinner date with the 19-year-old model. Cosmopolitan had reported that Elordi and Gerber were photographed having dinner together at Nobu’s Malibu location on the night of September 1, the same day as Zendaya's 24th birthday. 
 
However, it is not yet confirmed if Elordi and Gerber are dating. Talks of a romance between 'Euphoria' costars Elordi and Zendaya first started after their rumored secret trip to Greece last year in August. The two were then spotted kissing in New York City in February this year, reported Harper's Bazaar. After Elordi and Gerber's dinner date pictures went viral on Twitter, fans of the Elordi-Zendaya couple began calling him out for cheating on the 'Dune' actor. Fans have also been showering love and support on Zendaya with many pointing out that she deserves better than Elordi.
 
One user, seemingly upset with the pair's breakup, wrote, "Wait jacob & zendaya split up??? pls she’s too good for him & she deserves better."

Another one tweeted, "But zendaya deserves better he ain’t all that cute people make him out to be." Echoing similar sentiments, another wrote, "Imagine cheating or even just dumping or losing the Zendaya but it’s all good, my baby deserves better."

“So you’re telling me #jacobelordi left THE ZENDAYA? Over whom again? #zendaya deserves better anyways,” wrote one user.

Elordi first rumored to be dating his 'Kissing Booth' co-star Joey King in August 2019. However, that relationship seemed to have fizzled out quite quickly as he was spotted spending time with Zendaya the same month. Referring to this, a user tweeted, “bruh this dude switches girlfriends every two weeks, zendaya deserves better.”

“Tbh Jacob leaving Zendaya doesn’t surprise me after hearing all the stories about how Jacob and Joey broke up...... anyways Zendaya is lucky and deserves better,” wrote another user.

Jacob Elordi

Zendaya and her ‘Euphoria’ co-star first sparked dating rumors in August 2019 when they were spotted vacationing together in Athens, Greece. They were photographed on a movie date in Los Angeles in October and then spent Thanksgiving together in Australia. The duo has maintained that they're just friends. However, in February 2020, the two were seen kissing in NYC.
 
Tom Holland

According to Heightline, Zendaya began dating her ‘Spiderman: Homecoming’ co-star in the summer of 2017. However, the duo denied the romance rumors for a while, until the mother of Zendaya’s close friend, Skai Jackson, confirmed the pair’s relationship. Replying to a user’s comment on a JustJared Instagram post, Kiya Cole responded, "Yes. It's true. They have been on the low for a while." Holland and Zendaya have always maintained being just good friends though. Zendaya shut down the relationship rumors in an interview with Variety after she was questioned about the possibility of a relationship with Holland, stating, "He's a great dude. He's literally one of my best friends."  
 
Odell Beckham Jr

In 2016, Zendaya was rumored to be dating NFL player Odell Beckham Jr after the duo was photographed leaving a Grammys afterparty together. TMZ obtained the footage of the two leaving and on being questioned if they were dating, Zendaya's father quickly stated, "It's an audition!" However, the romance rumors soon died down. 
 
Trevor Jackson

As per Heightline, Zendaya met Trevor Jackson two years before they started dating. The duo dated for nearly four years, which included walking red carpets together. Zendaya starred in Jackson’s music video for his 2013 track ‘Like We Grown’ and played his love interest in it. The two claimed that their chemistry was just platonic and at Jackson’s 18th birthday celebration, Zendaya addressed the romance rumors denying anything more than a good friendship. Zendaya opened up about being in a secret relationship for four years in an interview with Vogue in 2017. She never named Jackson, but many speculated that he was indeed the first love of her life.
 
Zendaya has also dated some other men, including Adam Irigoyen who was her first boyfriend. According to Heightline, they met on the set of ‘Shake It Up’ where they both co-starred. However, their relationship only lasted a few months. Zendaya also dated Leo Howard, another ‘Shake It Up’ castmate after calling it quits with Irigoyen. However, Howard and Zendaya’s relationship only lasted for a couple of months.
