Zendaya has made Emmys history again with 'Euphoria.' Zendaya, 25, is the youngest woman ever nominated for producing at the Emmys, as well as the youngest two-time lead acting contender. She received four nominations in total with today's haul.

Zendaya previously made history in 2020 as the youngest lead actress drama winner (24 at the time) and only the second-ever Black woman to win the award, joining Viola Davis for 'How to Get Away With Murder.' She received two more mentions for her two songs submitted in the original music and lyrics category — "Elliot's Song" from the episode "All My Life, My Heart Has Yearned for a Thing I Cannot Name" and "I'm Tired" from the episode "You Who Cannot See, Think of Those Who Can." Furthermore, she is the first Black woman (and second Black person) to be nominated for both acting and songwriting at the Emmys in the same year.

The 'Spider-Man' star won the Lead Actress Drama award in 2020 for her work in the first season of 'Euphoria,' defeating expected frontrunners Laura Linney and Jennifer Aniston. She was the youngest woman to win the event at the time. 'Euphoria,' based on the Israeli series of the same name created by Daphna Levin and Ron Leshem from 'HOT,' follows a group of high school students in the town of East Highland, including Zendaya's 17-year-old substance abuser Rue, as they navigate identity, trauma, drugs, family, friendships, love, and sex.

Sam Levinson's series, which he developed, wrote, directed, and executive produced, returned for a second season in January and was extended for a third the following month, becoming the most-watched in HBO history, trailing only the grandiose fantasy series 'Game of Thrones.' Fans were overjoyed to see their favorite artist making history at the Emmys. They turned to social media to share their feelings.A fan wrote: "switching fandom for a sec but ZENDAYA NOMINATED SLAY !!!!!!!!!"

Another fan pointed out how she stole the show in one episode (probably "Stand Still Like A Hummingbird"): "It's wonderful to see nominated Melanie Lynskey for best actress, such a chilling performance however I think the Emmy will go to Zendaya, she dominated the whole show just in one episode."

One fan felt Zendaya carries the show which landed her the Emmy nod. They tweeted: "Listen. I love stranger things tho kids is absolute monsters. Ozark & BCS is tvs best of the best. Squid games was great too… but Zendaya as Rue is giving a masterclass in acting and carrying that shit on her back."

Fans call September a big month for Zenday with her Emmy nominations and her birthday all in the same month: "September is gonna be THE month. Z's birthday and THAT post, 2x Emmy winner zendaya, tcr wrap and my birthday."

A fan of the show also feel Colman Domingo deserves to win alongside Zendaya for their outstanding scene together. A tweet read: "and give it to Colman Domingo because his special episode with Zendaya alone deserved a win."

The 74th Emmy Awards will air on NBC and stream on Peacock on September 12. The Creative Arts Emmy Awards will air on September 10 on FXX.
