A video has been going viral on the Internet over the weekend that sees a woman getting brutally beaten up by a man whose face is not visible. The new clip surfaced on Sunday, May 29, and created quite a buzz as many thought the woman in the video was Hollywood biggie, Zendaya.
 
The context of the video is not clear and it is also not known who exactly was involved but many on Twitter sparked a debate whether the woman who struck an uncanny resemblance with the ‘Euphoria’ star was really her or not. Social media users believed that the 25-year-old star might have been involved in a brawl while others said it was weird that people only cared if it was Zendaya.

A video shared by TMZ, sees a woman sitting on the ground as a tall man with a hoodie throws a few quick punches to a woman’s face who appears to be Zendaya. The woman keeps sitting on the ground as she also gets kicked by the unidentified man while trying to dodge the attack. While the woman looks like Zendaya, it is likely to be some other woman. If we look closely at the video, the woman is also wearing an ankle band- something many on the Internet spoke about.

‘Y’all making up rumors’

Social media users flooded Twitter with their remarks as one of the users stated, “People are truly desensitized. That girl getting beat up is not funny & thinking it’s Zendaya is also not funny. Y’all need help.” Another chimed in, “A girl is getting beat up but we don’t care about that we just wanna know if it’s Zendaya or not.” The next one asserted, “Whether it’s Zendaya or not, why the f**k are y’all laughing at a woman getting beat up? that’s f**king weird.”
 
Meanwhile, one user tweeted, “Whether it’s a girl or a boy my thing is we only care if it’s zendaya, like y’all actually know zendaya personally she’s literally just as much a stranger as the girl who’s actually getting beat up in the video like think about that for a second.” One user stated, “Y’all hate Zendaya so much, y’all making up rumors about her getting beat up?? F**kin weirdos.” And, another concluded, “Some girl that looks like Zendaya was getting beat up and people are saying it's her.”
