Marina Rough, aka @InChargeofOutfits, a fashion blogger, posted an unboxing video of the candy-pink number that received 1.4 million views. Other influencers soon followed, and the hashtag #ZaraPinkDress now has 1.7 million views on Instagram. The trend is pretty much following the same trend as the black-and-white polka-dot Zara dress from last year. This one, though, is sexier and more versatile. Many women have compared the simple style of the pink dress, with its low back and spaghetti straps, to the famous yellow gown that Kate Hudson wore in the 2003 film “How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days.”
Apart from Rough, trend reporter Brittney Levine also shared about the Zara pink dress with her opinions. She told the NY Post, “The bubblegum pink is that perfect shade that is not too bright or overpowering,” she added, “From every angle, it has this gleaming, shiny effect. It cinches just below the breasts so it’s figure-flattering to women of all sizes. Plus, cutouts are major right now, but we’re seeing them all on the front or side. This is more of a ‘party in the back. It shows off all your assets but hits in the right places.” Her detailed explanation about the dress has made so many people yearn for the outfit. One user on Twitter wrote, “I want that pink dress from zara” while another wrote, “Now I need this pink dress from Zara.” Are you in to buy the dress?
