Chozen Terrell-Hannah: TikTok star busted for robbery as FBI identifies stolen shoes in video
MICHIGAN, UNITED STATES: An aspiring social media influencer was arrested by the FBI after authorities joined the dots and identified the suspect via the content he shared on social media. Chozen Terrell-Hannah, 22, a resident of Michigan, recently shared TikToks of him dancing while he had a pair of Nike sneakers on. Surprisingly, his pair looked a lot like the one that had been stolen by an armed robber.
In addition to the pair of sneakers with red shoes, Terrell-Hannah also allegedly robbed four other stores between December 2021 and February 2022. This was initially reported by Fox 2 Detroit.

The authorities had some external assistance. They received an anonymous tip that led them to ChozenWrld on TikTok. It has over 149,000 followers and around 1.6 million likes. Allegedly, Terrell-Hannah robbed a 7-Eleven store, a gas station, and a smoke up, as reported by the station. In all four scenarios, he was seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, a face mask, and a pair of white shoes. However, the fourth robbery is when things went south. During the fourth crime, the witnesses noticed some strands of pink hair under the mask.
Authorities took this discovery to the outlet. They had watched many of his recent videos and found the descriptions to match. In one video, the partially pink hair was visible. The FBI added they tracked Terrell-Hannah after they obtained a warrant. Additionally, cellphone data also pointed towards his presence in the areas where the robberies took place. When authorities raided his residence, they found a Glock handgun and the shoes. Reportedly, the TikTok star was arrested on Wednesday, March 2 and he admitted to committing those robberies.
Currently, the TikTok star is awaiting a hearing in a federal court in Detroit and he faces charges of affecting interstate commerce and being in possession of a firearm during a violent crime.
Comments under the video say, "And the crazy thing about this is once he gets out, he might be even more popular. Not to sound like a old head but this generation is definitely different." Another added, "So basically there was an “anonymous tip” to check his tiktok profile for the shoes and hair…not that “law enforcement” actually used due diligence to track him? LOL GOT IT🤣🤧😒"
A different user said, "The man interviewed said he hopes the robber can recover from whatever is making him do robberies. Very few people recover from stupidity. Stupidity usually is incurable and lasts a lifetime once adulthood is reached."
