When does 'Young Sheldon' Episode 6 air? We can't wait to see Missy trying out for the baseball team as Meemaw deals with heartbreak
In case you tuned in to CBS hoping to catch the latest episode of your favorite sitcom — 'Young Sheldon', then you might have been greeted with a rerun of an older episode. The new episode six titled 'A Parasol and a Hell of an Arm' will be airing only on November 7.
Actor Craig T Nelson of 'Parenthood' and 'Coach' fame is all set to appear in a recurring role in season three of 'Young Sheldon'. Nelson will be reprising the role of Little League baseball coach, Coach Dale Ballard.
George Sr., who is a football coach, will be locking horns with Dale Ballard. Dale's character will be introduced in the sixth episode of season three. Missy (Raegan Revord), will be showing interest in joining the baseball team and will have to impress Dale to secure the spot.
The summary for the episode reads, "A church carnival leads Missy to try out for the baseball team; Meemaw struggles after her breakup with Dr. Sturgis."
So we will be seeing Missy trying out for a baseball team. In an earlier episode we saw her show interest in the sport when a guy she was interested in was a fan of baseball, and to impress him, she goes to her father and asks him to teach her baseball.
It is shown that the Cooper girl has a natural flair for the game and surprises her father with her quick learning.
The previous episode saw Dr. Sturgis (Wallace Shawn) break up with Meemaw (Annie Potts), after his return from the psychiatric hospital.
We saw Meemaw immediately dip her feet into the dating pool hoping to make Dr. Sturgis jealous, but unfortunately, her plan failed. In the upcoming episode, we will be seeing her trying to get over the lovable professor.
