YoungBoy Never Broke Again name-drops Reginae Carter in new song, YFN Lucci says 'Boi a real b***h in person'

YFN Lucci, who earlier dated Reginae, reacted on Instagram to NBA YoungBoy's new song. Fans of the rapper, however, didn't take too kindly to his reaction

YoungBoy Never Broke Again name dropped reality TV star and Wayne's daughter, Reginae Carter, in a new song. On Wednesday, October 21, YoungBoy released the music video for the Top version of Jay-Z's 'Story of OJ' in which the 21-year-old called himself the greatest rapper to ever do it.

Further into the song, YoungBoy made a pass at Reginae and rapped, "But they won't understand how I'm 20 cockin' over 10 million, huh / I seen labels the new age slavery, so I partnered up I'm a CEO now / I own a percentage of United Masters tell 'em hate me (F**k it) / The sh*t ain't Fugazi, I'm tryna convince Fee to tell Reginae / How big the sh*t gon' be if we have a baby, but I'm serious though." Apart from declaring he wants to have a baby with Reginae, YoungBoy also name-dropped Steve Stoute's United Masters company. The 'Baton Rouge' rapper is already rumored to be expecting a child with Iyanna Mayweather, Floyd Mayweather's daughter. Neither Iyanna nor YoungBoy have confirmed the rapper to be the father, but the champion boxer's daughter did reveal that she is pregnant.

Also, YoungBoy is currently a father of four. Reginae Carter hasn't yet responded to YoungBoy name-dropping her in his song.

YFN Lucci reacts

Rapper YFN Lucci, who had dated Reginae earlier, reacted over Instagram to YoungBoy's new song. Lucci, who had an on-again, off-again relationship with Wayne's daughter, commented on a post by The Shade Room on Instagram saying, "Boi a real b***h in person" followed by a couple of laughing emojis. A screenshot of the comment was posted on Twitter saying, "YFN Lucci reacts to NBA YoungBoy mentioning Reginae on his new song."

Lucci and Reginae, as of April 2020, have ended their relationship. During an interview on the split, Reginae spoke about the advice her father gave saying: "My father told me that sometimes when people don't know love themselves, they can't love other people, and you can't blame them for that."

Reactions

Fans of YoungBoy flooded Twitter speaking against Lucci. One fan tweeted, "YFN Lucci is in the list of top 10 rappers that nobody knows they music but they some how famous," while another said, "Someone tell Shark Boy to pipe down. Ain't nobody know his a**. YFN Lucci who??"

Another YoungBoy fan wrote, "YFN Lucci better chill he don’t want that smoke wit NBA," while a different fan said, "YFN Lucci just called NBA YoungBoy a b***h...lol but he been running from Thug for years tho. Wow that boy ready to lose his life over instagram ain’t it." Calling the controversy corny, a user expressed, "YFN Lucci a grown a** man gettin involved in kid drama because he wanted to date that lil girl so bad. Corny asf"

YoungBoy dropped the LP 'Top' last month after taking a brief hiatus from releasing music. It debuted at #1 on Billboard 200. Interestingly, the album has the track 'My Window' featuring Lil Wayne which reached #35 on the Billboard Hot 100.
