'Yellowstone' Season 4 Episode 4: Jamie gets shocking news, fans ask him his choice

Jamie received a shocking news regarding his father and now fans are asking to choose a side

We already knew that the primary focus of ‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 would be to find the man who ordered the attacks on The Duttons and it comes as no surprise that the first four episodes have managed to keep the “main guy” out of the equation even if his subordinates have been recognized.

During Episode 3, we learned that a criminal hired the killers to assassinate the Duttons. Chief Rainwater gives a file to John (Kevin Costner) and tells him that he is the person behind the attacks. However, they don’t know who’s the mastermind behind all this. Beth believes it’s Jamie (Wes Bentley), but Kayce (Luke Grimes) says that his brother might not be responsible for it. Kayce meets Jamie and says he wants him to investigate the case and find out all the missing links. Jamie says he’ll do it for sure.

However, Jamie’s life turns upside down after receiving a shocker of news during the final moments of the episode. Jamie receives a file from his secretary and it is from the Bureau of Prisons. As soon as he opens the file, he sees the name of his biological father Garrett Randall in it. He is shocked to learn that his father might be the one who’s doing this and hired the killer to end the Dutton Family.

Social media was lit with reactions after the scene aired on Paramount and believes that it’s time for Jamie to decide whose side he’s on. One of the users said, “I guess we know now! Jaimie wasn’t behind it but his real daddy was! OOOOOHHHHHHH MAAAAANNNN!” Another user wrote, “So Jamie realizes that his birth father is a snake! What will he do?!?!”

Another fan of the show said, “Jamie, he told you when you met him, he kills everything around him. He warned you.” Another user noted, “You know John and Kacye knew, will Jamie pass the loyalty test ?!?!?”

“I called it. Jamie has to decide whose side he’s on,” a fan added. “He's fabulous and thinks on his feet lawyer!! Sure knows his stuff! It seems Garrett acted without Jamie's knowledge and now poor Jamie is stuck in the middle of choices all around him. His Dad, John, his birth father Garrett, and his baby Momma - all pulling him in diff directions,” said another user.

Randall’s name on the list only makes it worse for Jamie. He believed that his dad was supporting him all around, but now it seems, he used him to plan the attacks. How will Jamie react? Will he confront Garrett about what he did? Or there will be some twist in the tale? Whatever the outcome may be, ‘Yellowstone’ is only going to get intense after tonight’s episode.
