There are only a handful of shows that have done amazingly well as ‘Yellowstone’ has over the years. The first three seasons have been really excellent and fans are glued to their screens whenever it arrives. Season 3 ended with a massacre and the Dutton Family felt the heat.

The premiere of Season 4 showed who survived and who did not? Luckily, all the members of the Dutton Family survived the attack but they suffered injuries. Beth’s (Kelly Reilly) whole back is burnt while John Dutton's (Kevin Costner) is still on heavy medications. Kayce (Luke Grimes) has also survived, thankfully. But, one member missing was Jamie (Wes Bentley). So, where is he?

At the starting of episode 2, Beth goes out to meet Jamie and demands to meet him in private. They both talk in his office and Beth accuses him of leaving the family in the middle of the massacre. She says that he did not even call. To which, Jamie replies that he called every day, but he didn’t call her. Beth is agitated and accuses him of doing all this. She believes that it was Jamie who ordered the assassinations and wanted them to be killed.

But they are alive and now, she’ll kill Jamie for hurting her family. Jamie is disgusted with what she says as she leaves her office. The way Jamie reacted we know that it isn’t him who has done this. I think he won’t do it to his own family even when his relations are not good with others.

Elsewhere, we see some bonding between Kayce and John as they plan that they are going to kill the culprit, but not just him, they are going to kill everyone who is associated with them. John has been adamant that he needs to be back in the game and wants to know who tried to kill his family.

On the other hand, Beth takes the kid from the hospital inside her house, but her husband is not ready to take him inside. However, he doesn’t believe the kid and wants him out of the house, but he gives him a chance to be with them.

The episode ends with Jimmy being with the Duttons, he is still struggling but getting better day after day. John wasn’t happy with how he broke the word and Jimmy was really upset that he’ll be fired from the job. He is fired and sent to a place where he’ll be trained by professional cowboys and make him one. Also, John has left the barn on a horse and only the little boy, who has been taken into the family, knows that he has left.

But the biggest question is if Jamie was the one behind the shootings? If he was, then it will be interesting to see how John deals with it.

‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 returns to Paramount with a new episode every Sunday at 8 pm EST.
