This story may contain spoilers for 'Yellowstone' Season 3

Just as we had started missing 'Yellowstone', Paramount Network released a little sneak peek to keep fans going till the summer.

In an entertaining rendezvous, Beth Dutton (Kelley Reilly) meets 'Yellowstone's new regular by the river.  Played by Josh Holloway, a new character has joined the cast of 'Yellowstone' as Roarke Morris. In a season-long arc, the actor will be essaying Morris, a handsome, charming, shaggy-haired hedge fund manager with ambitious plans in Montana. The actor is best known for his role of James Sawyer Ford on 'Lost' and Will Bowman on 'Colony'.

Beth is driving by the river when she sees Morris knee-deep in water. She yells at him to get out of the river as he is trespassing. But Morris points out that it is only trespassing if he were to get out of the river - both sides of the river are private property. Reilly's Beth is determined and insults him just as she manages to get down by the river to tell him. But he points out that it is only an insult if he understands it. The little banter has Beth irked but Morris cannot help but ask her if she wants to do dinner sometime.

We can't be sure if he will be playing an ally to John Dutton or his adversary, but we are guessing it won't be a pleasant association. In a preview released by the network after the culmination of the second season, Holloway had described his character as a "hedge fund baller". Reilly, interestingly, referred to him as "Dan Jenkins times a million". The clip also has Luke Grimes saying that "it seems like Roarke is going to hit on Beth, and I just don't think that's a great idea."

Fans cannot wait for the series to make its return. "Just hoping this series becomes a classic so it can be watched throughout the years and remain relevant. Best storytelling and acting I've seen in a long time," commented one fan. "Can’t wait for season 3 feels like forever since season 2 ended. I’m ready to get back to Montana haha," said another.

While release dates aren't out yet, season 3 is likely to release in summer 2020 on Paramount Network. If we were to speculate based on old releases (season 1 on June 20, 2018, and season 2 on June 19, 2019), season 3 might be out in June sometime.
