'Yellowstone' Season 3 Episode 7 drops major reveal about Jamie, fans ask 'is he going to ruin the ranch?'
Spoilers for 'Yellowstone' Season 3 Episode 7 titled 'The Beating'
The hit Paramount show 'Yellowstone' has had many ups and downs and even more twists and turns over the course of its three seasons. But it is only now in the latest episode that it makes its biggest reveal yet. So, if you have managed to elude this piece of information so far, do not proceed forward as there will be major spoilers.
In a shocking turn of events, 'Yellowstone' reveals that Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley) -- who for some reason is perhaps the most hated character on the show -- is not actually John Dutton's (Kevin Costner) biological son. John had rescued him several years ago as a child after his birth father beat his birth mother to death. In a showdown that happens at the end of the episode, John tells him how he would turn into his father had he not adopted him.
Many of the show's fans have expressed mixed reactions. Those who have hated him much like the rest of the Duttons are glad to find out the truth. On the other hand, Jamie's sympathizers can't help but feel sorry for him.
"I will always be Team Jamie and I will not apologize for that," a fan tweeted.

Following the reveal, it is now clear to fans why and how John treated him the way he did all this while. These are only speculations by them though and don't exactly delve into his psyche. "John hates Jamie cause who his Father is and that’s not Love. John treats Jamie like the outcast.....that’s not Love. John just like to control people," tweeted a fan.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, it remains to be seen how it will affect the family dynamics going forward. With Jamie now confronted with the truth about him and his family, it is likely that he will turn against them. No surprises there. Fans can't stop speculating where and how the betrayal will come from John.
"Damn. Is Jamie gonna ruin the ranch because he's mad at his family?" added another.

"They're setting it up bc Jamie will switch sides- remember JD told Jamie not to betray him again..." added another fan. In Season 2, after one too many wrong decisions taken by Jamie, John had warned him to think before acting out, and to never betray him.

That, however, doesn't matter to fans of John Dutton who are confident that any clash is going to end in John's victory only. "John going to kick Jamie's a** no matter if he's his son or not you don't mess with John's land ever!!!"
