In response to the ongoing debate surrounding FaZe Clan and their new recruitment of actress-turned-streamer Grace Van Dien, Twitch star Felix "xQc" has shared his opinions. Before finalizing the agreement, FaZe had previously announced on Twitter that they planned to add additional female players.

In contrast, xQc recommended that the company sign authors directly rather than depending on PR campaigns. Felix stated in his most recent Tuesday, May 30, 2023 stream that FaZe Clan could have easily recruited several qualified applicants. Let's dig inside what he actually said.

'There's a bunch of deserving women'

There has been a lot of turmoil in the gaming world as a result of the incident with Grace Van Dien and FaZe Clan. FaZe Rain, in particular, has criticized the signing with critical remarks. In response, xQc made the decision to comment on the matter. In his stream, he said, "People need to stop doing this, we need more women in esports and we need more women into this." He continued saying, "Why do people have to go out of their way and pick girls on the basis that they are girls that aren't even interested or even ingrained in the space? There are so many girls out there that are doing good, right?" He added, "Bro, if people paid attention, there's a bunch of deserving women that can get picked up because they deserve it in places they've already reached," as per Sportskeeda.

As a solid conclusion to his statements, xQc urged organizations to take concrete steps to engage female gamers rather than simply declaring their intention. He said, "Why do they say, 'We need more girls.' They're right there and have been right there. Stop acting like you need girls based on meritocracy when they are literally in melee range. There's a bunch."

'Alleged mismanagement'

In addition, the current CEO and board members have come under harsh criticism from FaZe Rain and other co-owners, who blame their claimed poor management for the drop in sales. Grace's signing has been controversial, but FaZe recently declared on Instagram that he will work with Grace to discuss the problem.

This feud since has got the attention of the variety streamer xQc who did not shy away to delve into the topic and gave his own standpoint.  But his controversial take might even spark a new set of fights in the online space, instead of quashing the old ones. All eyes are on the latest streams!
