This event prompts Rogue to embark on a mission to hunt down Bolivar Trask, whom she believes is responsible for the Genosha attack.

'X-Men '97' Episode 8 titled 'Tolerance Is Extinction: Part 1' is scheduled to air on Wednesday, May 1.
Disney+ has revealed their plan to release one episode of 'X-Men '97' every Wednesday at approximately 3:00 am ET. Although the first 2 debut episodes had a 10-minute delay, the third episode dropped exactly as per schedule.
Episode 7 also saw a slight 2-minute delay but we're hoping that does not return for the next episode!

What happened in 'X-Men '97' Episode 7?
In 'X-Men '97' Episode 7, titled 'Bright Eyes', Captain America makes his first appearance, helping Rogue locate Bolivar Trask's hideout. As the episode unfolds, secrets come to light, leading to a dramatic conclusion.
During the confrontation in Madripoor, Bolivar Trask confesses his role in the Genosha tragedy before attempting to escape. Rogue catches him, seeking more information, but Trask falls to his death. Rogue is then struck down by a massive blast.
Trask reappears, transformed into a hybrid of human, sentinel, and zombie, posing a new threat. Despite his enhanced powers, the X-Men quickly defeat him.
In a dramatic twist, Cable arrives and disables the formidable Human Sentinel. He warns that Mister Sinister, working with an unknown accomplice, is the true mastermind. Cable stresses the importance of uncovering this mysterious ally for the X-Men's future.
In the climax, a new villain named Bastion is introduced. He, along with Mister Sinister, orchestrated the devastating attack on Genosha. Bastion hints at even more catastrophic plans ahead for the X-Men. Just before the credits roll, a shocking scene unfolds: Magneto is alive, weakened, and bound to a chair.
What to expect from 'X-Men '97' Episode 8?
In the upcoming episode of 'X-Men '97', we can expect Professor X to play a major role now that we know he is alive. With Magneto captured, the Professor will be expected to reunite with the X-Men and help them defeat their adversaries. He is likely their last hope, which is why the show probably saved him for the season finale.
Together with the other members of the X-Men, they might finally confront Mister Sinister and Bastion, putting an end to their antics once and for all. Let's hope he gives them what they really deserve. Storm has also regained her powers in Episode 6 so we might also witness her 'Omega Level' powers soon.
This and the next episode will likely be the endgame for Season 1 considering how Professor X will be returning to Earth, we can expect to see him in Episode 8.
But let's not forget that these are only speculations and with all of creator Beau DeMayo's bombshell direction, one thing is for sure... we're all in for a treat!
