LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The latest episode of 'X-Men '97' dropped on Disney+ on Wednesday, April 17, and fans are loving it. In Episode 6, titled 'Lifedeath - Part 2,' fans witnessed the return of Professor X and an exciting moment as Storm regained her powers.

In the first two episodes of 'X-Men '97', Storm's powers were notably emphasized, portraying their significance and strength. However, a shocking twist in the second episode saw Storm stripped of her powers, challenging her identity.

In Episode 4 of 'X-Men '97', we were introduced to a new character named Forge. Later, we discovered that Forge was the one responsible for Storm's loss of powers.

This raised only one question in all our minds: would Storm get her powers back, or was this disastrous change permanent? Lucky for us, Episode 6 answered all those questions.

In this episode of 'X-Men '97,' Storm tries to help Forge, who was bitten by an adversary. She aims to heal his wound and stop the magical bite from spreading to his heart. Forge reveals a cactus that can reverse the magical effects of the bite.

Storm rushes to find the cactus but gets stuck while climbing down a rocky hill. The Adversary returns and tries to prey on her fear and self-doubt. However, Storm realizes that the Adversary can only feed on her negative emotions if she allows it.

She also understands that her mental resolve is stronger than the X-cutioner's temporary weapon. Despite previously deciding to renounce her powers, Storm breaks free from that mental constraint and embraces her mutant abilities with this newfound confidence.

As her powers return, Storm swiftly defeats the Adversary and saves Forge from certain death.

As Storm regains her powers, she also receives a new costume in 'X-Men '97.' This costume features an all-black look and a new hairstyle. Interestingly, this costume design is also her original iconic look from 'Giant-Size X-Men (1975).'

In the beginning, Storm's X-Men costume consisted of a bikini suit held together by a gold ring, thigh-high boots, and a cape-poncho hybrid with gold trimming covering her upper arms. She added her own touch with a tiara from Kenya and a ruby gemstone brooch from her mother.

This outfit was considered one of Storm's definitive looks. Although some elements quickly became outdated, it's always a delight to see our favorite comic book characters dawn their original suit at least once.

As Storm rejoices in regaining her powers, the news of the Genosha attack devastates her at the end of the episode. Given Storm's instinct to help others, we anticipate she'll rejoin the X-Men to seek justice for the fallen mutants. She'll also likely continue wearing her new outfit, as it adds a refreshing tone to her character.

With Professor X back, we might witness him and Storm devising a new plan to rescue the remaining mutants in 'X-Men '97.' Additionally, Storm's bond with Forge strengthens in Episode 6, hinting at further exploration of their relationship in the upcoming episodes.

While Storm has mastered her mind, her character arc for this season still has room to grow. We're just as eager as you are to see where her journey takes her next.
