'Would be dope': Fans thrilled as Lionsgate confirms 'John Wick 5,' reveals 'it will be organic'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'John Wick' franchise is set to come up with its latest edition! Lionsgate’s motion picture group chairing Joe Drake got fans excited with the news on Thursday, May 25. “What is official is that, as you know, Ballerina is the first spinoff that comes out next year. We’re in development on three others, including five and the television series, 'The Continental,' which will be airing soon,” he shared. “We’re building out the world and when that five movie comes, it will be organic — will be organically grown out of how we’re starting to tell those stories. But you can rely on a regular cadence of 'John Wick.'”

The franchise's latest edition ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ was out this March 24, adding another success to the series making $363 million globally. It didn’t take long for many to anticipate the fifth movie announcement soon from the studio and the director himself. “It’s very flattering for them to come back and, you know, say ‘We want more’ and it’s not just a cash grab. It’s legitimately the audience wants more," director Chad Stahelski said after Chapter 4′s release in an episode of The Hollywood Reporter’s 'Behind the Screen' podcast series.

Would be dope to get a videogame adaption based on the lore of the universe exploring other characters, or even a TV series with the same idea." Another gave an honest opinion, "Better be a prequel of how he gets into the life and meets his wife and gets out. To do a fake death after 4… idk man. That would likely be trash."
