'World of the Married' and 'Undercover' actor Han So-hee injured, rushed to emergency room during filming
Actor Han So-hee was reportedly rushed to an emergency room after she passed out in the middle of shooting her show 'Undercover'. The actor became a household name in 2020 with her stunning performance in one of the top-performing shows which was also critically acclaimed called 'World of the Married'. In this show, she played the role of the other woman who ended up being considered a homewrecker, and yet she got the man to break up with his wife in one of the most dramatic plot twists possible.
The actor is now working on a Netflix show titled 'Undercover' and it is while filming for this that she had passed out. According to Allkpop, the official statement from the streaming website read, "Han So-hwee fainted due to an injury and overwork during the 'Undercover' shoot. We stopped filming and rushed her to the E.R." According to media reports, a source from the production team had revealed that the actor had been injured while shooting an action sequence.
While there was no official confirmation regarding the actor's status, the same source was also quoted as saying that she was stable at the moment and that the injuries that she suffered from were not grievous. The show centers on a daughter who is looking for revenge after her father was killed and she attempts to find out the truth by working closely with a local group that deals in drugs. She ends up working with the gang leader and becomes his mole who gets a job with the police. She works in the drug investigation department with a partner who will change the way she sees the case. The Netflix original was expected to release in the latter half of 2021.
The official synopsis reads, "Yoon Ji-woo’s (Han So-hee) father dies suddenly. She wants to desperately take revenge on whoever is responsible for her father's death. Yoon Ji-Woo works for the drug crime group Dongcheonpa. Choi Moo-jin (Park Hee-soon) is the boss of the drug gang. With the help of Choi Moo-jin and to uncover the reason for her father's death, Yoon Ji-Woo joins the police department and becomes a mole for the drug group. Yoon Ji-Woo is assigned to work in the drug investigation unit in the police department. Her partner there is Detective Jeon Pil-do (Ahn Bo-hyun)."
The show is written by Kim Ba-da and directed by Kim Jin-min who is well known for directing other popular dramas titled 'Extracurricular', 'Lawless Lawyer', 'The Liar and his Lover' and 'Marriage Contract' among others.
