Sophie Turner's fans have rushed to her defense, claiming Joe Jonas was 'playing the victim'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The news of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's split has sent shockwaves through the internet.

The couple, who got married in 2019, are reportedly splitting after four years and having two daughters. 

Sources close to Jonas reportedly claimed that Turner's "excessive partying"  played a role in their decision to divorce.

However, supporters of the 'Game of Thrones' actress are standing up for her, claiming that Jonas and his PR team's "manipulative" portrayal of her made her look bad.

Sophie Turner's fans accuse Joe Jonas of not being a 'supportive husband'

Taking to X, one user accused Jonas of giving "zero support" to his wife.

The user wrote, "Joe Jonas started dating Sophie Turner when she was 19, marry her at 23, knocked her up at 24."

The user continued, "She was just finishing Game Of Thrones, she hardly worked these years and follow him on tours. Like he's giving zero support husband vibe."

They added, "All I'm going to add to this is that it's extremely s****y how his team is manipulating the media and the narrative. Also Joe Jonas Stan's in 2023??!!!"

The user followed up with a third tweet, saying, "Also, no one is saying Sophie was a child bride or that her kids are a mistake. We are saying why is Joe's team trying to make her look bad for working?"

The tweet added, "That's what I mean when I say he sound like he's not a supportive husband."

Joe Jonas accused of 'playing the victim'

In response to the tweet, a user claimed, "Joe Jonas just tryna play the victim here."

Another wrote, "She’s been pregnant for half their marriage while he’s been out on the town, but yeah she’s the one partying he’s truly absurd for this one."

Another quipped, "She was literally quoted during quarantine saying that she was using it to try to spend time with him because it was 'like a PRISON' for him to stay home."

The person added, "Also.. every live they did in 2020, they talked about how he stayed up playing video games all night long while she slept."

"It is easy to blame a woman, isn’t it?" another penned. Someone else wrote, "Don’t marry a cool girl if u can’t handle it." 

A sixth wrote, "I always knew he wasn’t good for her." Another made a 'Game of Thrones' reference, saying, "Some men just aren’t equipped to handle the Queen in the North."
