Celebrities all over social media have been extremely vocal about their dislike for either Trump or Biden. Openly endorsing their preferred candidate, rappers like 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Eminem and Lil Pump to name a few, have all supported either Trump or Biden in their own way. Similarly, will.i.am, the founding member of the musical group Black Eyed Peas, has been tweeting about the importance of the Democrats winning the 2020 elections.

Taking to Twitter, the 45-year-old singer compared Trump to someone in an abusive relationship. Replying to a Twitter user who wrote, "Trump’s a wackjob of the highest order. Not disputing that. But the comparison is out of order. Come on!", will.i.am tweeted, "Stirring racial tension / Female bashing / Sexual offenses / Hate speeches / Promoting violence / Covid Neglect / Spreading of Covid at rallies / Amplifying hate on Twitter / Lies...Lies...And more LIES. Sounds like an abusive relationship to me."

Following the singer's tweet, the same user, now convinced, wrote, "You know what...Now you point out all of the above, you're absolutely right. I didn't really get the comparison at first, but he's outrageously abusive to your whole country. I get it now."

Other followers of will.i.am also tweeted about the comparison like this one user who wrote, "He is a narcissist who has been gaslighting America, the same technique used by abusers to control and dominate. But it’s not the same as being in an abusive relationship with someone you know." A user said, "The narcissist in chief most definitely reminds me of everyone's abusive ex. It's an apt comparison for sure."

Another, talking about Will's appearance on Sky News, tweeted, "I just watched you on sky news, I could listen to you all day. Articulate, kind, compassionate, and honest, and full of optimism.. refreshing in these dark days, it was nice to have my cup of tea listening to positive vibes for a change. Thank you."

Calling Trump's relationship with America as Stockholm Syndrome, a user said, "Right! Its Stockholm syndrome voting for Trump," while another said, "Completely agree with this and everything you shared on the #kayburley program today. Peace not hate. Togetherness not division. Learning not ignorance. Preparation for the future. We can achieve so much more when we come together. Trump leads through divide & conquer."

Speaking to Sky News, will.i.am said, "It doesn't make sense that we have a leader that stirs up hate, that amplifies division and tries his hardest to confuse us all with distractions. It doesn't make sense that we have a leader that doesn't listen to science. Doesn't make sense that we have a leader that handled Covid-19 the way we've handled…our people have lost so many lives and so many jobs; so many people facing eviction because they can't pay their bills."
