Kate Middleton is radiant at Buckingham Palace reception as clouds of Harry and Meghan documentary gather
LONDON, ENGLAND: The Prince and Princess of Wales dusted off their finest tiaras for the yearly white tie diplomatic corps reception at Buckingham Palace while the Sussexes were in New York attending an award ceremony.
The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton looked stunning as she accessorized her scarlet lace Jenny Packham dress with the Lotus Flower tiara that she is frequently seen wearing on special occasions. It belonged to Princess Margaret. The Princess of Wales, with her hair worn down and straightened, was dressed in the floor-length gown decorated in sequinned flower motifs, along with a blue Royal Victorian Order sash and the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Family Order, which was pinned to a yellow ribbon. Her drop diamond earrings belonged to the late Queen.

Further, Prince William was spotted briefly wearing a formal black suit over a white dress shirt with his military badge pinned to his coat.
Meanwhile, Meghan and Harry were seen for the first time since their explosive Netflix teaser as they landed in New York by a private plane to accept an award for their 'heroic' battle against 'institutional racism' in the Royal Family. The Sussexes are scheduled to receive a human rights award at The Robert F Kennedy Ripple of Hope gala, tickets for which are going for up to $1 million (£847,000), as per Daily mail. Previous winners include Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Hillary Clinton.
Meghan was seen wearing an off-shoulder white dress paired with black heel pumps, accessorized with minimal jewelery while Prince Harry had on a formal suit with a matching tie.
The annual Diplomatic Reception was held on the evening of December 6 at Buckingham Palace, sponsored by the Royal Family, for the first time during King Charles' reign and also for the first time in 2019 since an earlier Reception scheduled for March was postponed owing to the war in Ukraine.
The event came after this year's Earthshot Prize awards ceremony in Boston. The Prince and Princess of Wales looked as loved up as ever in endearing behind-the-scenes Instagram photos posted by the organization. The Princess of Wales was photographed walking around in a figure-hugging outfit that featured a slit at the back while her chestnut hair fell down her back. She was looking effortlessly chic in the off-the-shoulder dress, while Prince William looked dapper in a black formal pair of suit and trousers. He accessorized the look with a matching bow tie, complete with shiny dress shoes.
