The trailer for 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' just might be coming in soon. The Tom Holland-starrer will return in 2026, following 'No Way Home' (2021), and the latest social media update from Sony hints at a potential trailer release. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Sony Pictures' UK account dropped a rather cryptic post, leading to speculations that some new footage might be on its way.

The post was captioned, "all we want for Christmas is @tomholland1996," along with wrapped present emojis, suggesting new details. It's worth noting that the month has already seen a massive 'Supergirl' teaser by DC, and the MCU is set to drop 'Avengers: Doomsday' footage.

The plot for 'Brand New Day' has been under wraps, but what is likely is that the events of the film will take place before 'Doomsday'. Holland's appearance as the friendly neighborhood web-slinger will also be the final MCU film before 'Doomsday' and 'Secret Wars'. A new trailer might just offer a look at Sadie Sink's mystery character, while also providing first looks at Jon Bernthal's Punisher and Mark Ruffalo's Hulk. The cast includes returning favorites Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, and J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson.

Earlier, Sink was coy about her role in her MCU debut. "No. I see a lot of rumors, too. They’ve been really cool to read. I love the Marvel Universe. I mean, they’re awesome rumors," she told Deadline. Soon after, she dropped another coy response when speaking to reporters during the world premiere of 'Stranger Things' Season 5. "I thought this was the Stranger Things premiere. I wasn't prepared," she said, while further adding, "No. No. I have enough secrets," with a laugh.

As for Holland, the fourth movie was the beginning of something new. "[It] really feels like we aren't making the fourth movie," Holland told Complex. "We're making the first movie in the chapter... This is a rebirth. This is something completely new."

'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' releases in theaters on July 31, 2026.
