LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: If there’s one celebrity who has been on the big screen, the small screen, tabloids, social media, and on almost every platform, it has to be Megan Fox. Fox has had a very impressive career trajectory and was often praised for her attractiveness. While Fox has appeared in movies like ‘Jennifer’s Body’ and ‘The Dictator’, the ‘Transformers’ franchise has been an important milestone in her career.

Everybody loves ‘Transformers’, and so did Fox, until she was fired from the franchise. This impacted her career in Hollywood. Of course, there was a lot of controversy surrounding Fox’s exit, but with ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ set to release soon, the question that everyone is asking is whether Fox will be back.

Why did Megan Fox leave the ‘Transformers’ franchise?

It came as a big shock for everyone when Fox didn’t reprise her role in ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’. The first two live-action films, ‘Transformers’ and ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’, which were released in 2007 and 2009 respectively, were huge box-office hits and Fox was a crucial part of both of them. The franchise was at an all-time high — until it wasn’t anymore, and here’s why: Fox did an interview in 2009 where she spoke about Michael Bay, the director of the 2007 ‘Transformers’. In this interview, Fox said, "He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for."

There was a lot of hearsay after that interview, with rumors about the situation spreading like wildfire. Fox’s representatives claimed that it was her decision to walk out, whereas Bay blamed her firing on Steven Spielberg. According to ScreenRant, this incident heavily impacted Fox’s popularity. However, she did eventually repair her status as well as her relationship with Bay.

Could Fox make an appearance in ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’?

Fox hasn’t officially been listed as a cast member for ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’. However, we can’t completely rule out the possibility of her appearance since Fox and Bay have mended their relationship. In addition to that, Fox’s character, Mikaela Banes, never got an ending, which means her character could still be alive, well, and ready for a return in ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’. Of course, a lot has changed since Fox’s last appearance in the ‘Transformers’ franchise, but a small cameo might do wonders for the box-office numbers.

‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ is set to release June 9, 2023, and you can watch it in theaters near you.
