Maddox Jolie-Pitt has offered a 'not very flattering' opinion in his testimony against father Brad Pitt during the latter's contentious divorce and custody battle with wife Angelina Jolie.

Maddox, 19 has already given testimony as adult in the ongoing custody dispute and it wasn't very flattering towards Brad Pitt, say reports. A source further added that Maddox wants to legally drop "Pitt" from his last name, but his mother "doesn't support" the move.

Angelina Jolie still has love-hate relationship with Brad Pitt and doesn't want divorce case to end, says source

It has been widely reported that the final straw for Jolie to go for divorce was an alleged altercation between Maddox and Brad in 2016. She is now also "prepared to provide proof of domestic abuse" in the divorce trial, say reports.

Brad and Angelina share kids Maddox, Zahara, 16, Pax, 17, Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12. The couple is said to be hashing out custody and financial arrangements in the trial, which may see some of their children testify if granted permission. "He doesn’t use Pitt as his last name on documents that aren’t legal and instead uses Jolie," the source told US Weekly. "Maddox wants to legally change his last name to Jolie, which Angelina has said she doesn’t support."

The Blast reportedly obtained documents that suggested the 'Maleficent' actress, 45, is willing to offer "proof and authority" to support domestic violence allegations during her two-year marriage to the 'Django Unchained' star, 57.

Brad was being investigated by the FBI and social services in Los Angeles shortly after the couple filed for divorce in 2016. The probe was launched amid reports that he was "verbally abusive and physical with his children" on a private jet, yet he was cleared of any wrongdoing.

"She has made similar allegations in the past which were investigated by the authorities and not substantiated," a source told the Daily Mail. "This is the latest sad and desperate attempt to advance a false narrative at any cost. These have been the same attacks repeated for the past 4 ½ years and anyone who is perceived to be standing in the way can expect to have their credibility challenged."

The LA County Department Of Children And Family Services cleared Brad Pitt of abuse allegations after the 2016 incident, confirming he had not committed child abuse during his altercation with Maddox aboard the jet. Documents obtained by The Blast also show that the court is seeking permission from the couple for Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne to testify in the trial.

The bitter divorce battle hit yet another roadblock in October after Angelina was said to have parted ways with one of her top attorneys. LA-based former federal prosecutor Priya Sopori, who was working with the Hollywood star's lead lawyer, Samantha DeJean, has filed a 'Notice of Withdrawal of Attorney of Record' with LA Superior Court, according to the Daily Mail.

However, the late team change has purportedly only strengthened Angelina's resolve to win the case. "Angelina has fought tooth and nail to get what she wants in this divorce, when it comes to her kids she won't back down," a source close to Jolie told the Daily Mail. "She's paying her legal team a fortune, so if she believes one of her lawyers needs to go she won't hesitate to pull the trigger."
