Will Jen Shah appear in the 'RHOSCL' Season 4 reunion? Bravo host Andy Cohen addresses swirling rumours
SALT LAKE, UTAH: 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' Season 4 has seen a lot of stirring drama and is expected to wrap up the latest instalment soon. However, the Bravo show cast will once again reunite during the 'RHOSLC' Season 4 reunion to provide fans with an insight into some of the heated topics.
As host Andy Cohen revealed that they have already filmed the reunion, speculation about Jen Shah's appearance via Skype swirled around the Internet. However, the Bravo host recently addressed the rumours during his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live.
Cohen debunked the rumours about Shah's appearance on 'RHOSLC' Season 4 reunion and said, "I didn't hear this until yesterday on a call with a bunch of Bravo EPs, I didn't realize there was a rumor going around on reunion day."
He added, "That Jen Shah Skyped in from prison or something... Did not happen. Did not happen, so if anyone was hoping for that – didn't happen."
Andy Cohen responds to Mary Cosby's appearance in 'RHOSCL' Season 4 reunion
Andy Cohen also addressed rumors about 'RHOSLC' star Mary Cosby, who famously did not show up to the Season 2 reunion, making an appearance at Season 4's get-together.
Cohen revealed that Mary did appear during the 'RHOSCL' Season 4 reunion but only for a limited time. He shared on the radio, "She did show up. She was not out on the stage for the entire reunion, but she was out there for the exact right amount."
Cohen continued, "And it was a really interesting discussion with her."
Jen Shah celebrates her 50th birthday in jail
'RHOSLC' star Jen Shah recently turned 50 on October 4, 2023, and celebrated her milestone birthday in jail. Shah's husband, Sharrieff Shah, revealed how her wife spent her 50th birthday.
He shared a video message on Shah's Instagram and said, "As most of you know, today is my wife's birthday. Today Jen Shah turned 50 years old, and I can say honestly that we are not where I thought we would be when my wife turned 50."
Sharrieff further revealed that he asked 50 people close to Shah's life to write her a message for her 50th birthday. He added, "Well, she received them today, and it was more than I could have ever imagined."
He went on to say that since Shah is in a federal facility, they are only allowed to have a phone call for at least ten minutes at a time. He then shared that his wife "cried and cried tears of joy and appreciation for at least six and a half minutes."
Why is 'RHOSLC' star Jen Shah in jail?
'RHOSLC' star Jen Shah was arrested in March 2021 on wire fraud and money laundering charges in connection with an alleged telemarketing scheme that has victimized hundreds of victims.
Shortly after her arrest, she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud back in July 2022. However, now Shah has been serving 6.5 years in federal prison in addition to the millions she has to pay back in restitution.
Shah began her sentence in February 2023 and is incarcerated at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas.
