'Wild N' Out' star Jacky Oh was discovered in an 'unresponsive' state before her death, claims police
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jacky Oh, who died at the age of 32, was found unconscious before her death. The new details have come out after the police report mentions that their team was ‘dispatched’ on May 31 "in reference to an unresponsive female." The former 'Wild ‘N Out' cast member was rushed to Mercy Hospital but was pronounced dead ‘despite resuscitative efforts,’ according to the police document. So far, her official cause of death has not been released by the authorities.
"We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild 'N Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed," a BET Media Group spokesperson made the statement after she died. The statement further said, "Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the Wild 'N Out cast throughout five seasons. More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children."

'Still processing this very tragic and unexpected loss'
The network concluded the statement and said, "The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time." Odell Beckham Jr also posted the statement on his Instagram Story from the late star’s family. He supposedly met Jacky Oh through his partner Lauren Wood. "It is with [sad] hearts we share with you that Jacklyn aka MsJackyOh has passed away on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023. Our family is still processing this very tragic and unexpected loss; we ask that you please give us privacy during this time," it reads.
Beckham Jr went on to Twitter and wrote, “Every day is a gift. Tomorrow is never promised. Rest Easy Angel. We love You. Don’t take this life for granted, we’re here for the blink of an eye. Y’all plz love on your loved ones while they’re still here.”
'Damn man! Truly an angel'
Jacky Oh's partner, DC Young Fly, also released an emotional statement on her death, "We thank everyone for their good wishes and ask for privacy during this difficult time.” Keenan Allen paid tribute to Oh via Instagram, “Damn man! Truly an angel. Jacky introduced me to the wife I have today. Praying for your babies and DC! It’s all perfect timing even though we don’t understand. God is in control!”
Jacky Oh shared her vacation to Belize with Wood on her official YouTube channel in March, according to People.
