To honor the last wish of the deceased icon, his close friends and family will not organize a funeral after his death.

As reported by Vanity Fair, Roger Neal, Bob’s longtime publicist, broke the news of Barker's death on August 26, saying that the 99-year-old iconic host will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Hollywood.
Roger Neal told Daily News that Barker's wishes would be respectfully followed. Moreover, Barker had stipulated that his burial should also be private.

As per BBC reports, Bob Barker died at the age of 99 due to natural causes at his residence near Los Angeles, as confirmed by his agent.
Born in December 1923 in Washington State, Barker's life journey encompassed service in the US Navy during World War II, followed by a career initiation in radio and later transitioning to television.

Following the initial news of Barker's death, Drew Carey, his successor as host of 'The Price Is Right,' expressed his gratitude on Twitter, stating that not a single day went by on set that he did not think of and thank Bob Barker.
Carey shared that he will forever keep Barker's memory in his heart.
