For many, the world of stardom welcomes them as they enter prestigious beauty pageants like Miss USA. This year, the 69th edition of the pageant will be held at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, after it got postponed from its scheduled spring season commencement. The starry event will be graced by the presence of 51 beauties from all walks of life who will compete with high beauty standards and their incredible talents.

One of them is Lexi Revelli who has replaced Katie Bozner and will represent the state of Wyoming during Miss USA 2020. According to reports Katie had to withdraw her participation in the pageant race due to academic reasons.

She mentioned her obligations towards studies and her inability to compete in a long Instagram post. She also stated in the post that she was unable to be a part of the event as the Miss USA 2020 event was shifted for a November 9 commencement as against its spring event due to Covid-19.

Katie mentioned the difficult choice she had to make in an October 24 Instagram post. “As 2020 has been an uncertain year, for everyone, I have been put in a situation to choose between two of my childhood dreams and goals. As long as I can remember, I wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps of becoming an Optometrist. Then as a young girl, my love for pageantry developed with community involvement and my heart to serve others."

She continued, "Having the opportunity to go to Miss USA was a dream. The endless opportunities to spread my message and visit children’s hospitals was the highlight of my time in pageantry. I am forever grateful for all the memories I have of visiting the children in the hospital, making them feel like kings and queens for the day. Unfortunately with the move of the pageant date, due to Covid-19, I am unable to miss classes, and labs to attend Miss USA from November 1 to 9.”

Katie added, “Had Miss USA occurred in late Spring/Summer, I could of had the opportunity to represent the beautiful state of Wyoming at the Miss USA pageant and have the chance of fulling both of my childhood dreams. At this time, I made the decision to put my academic and career goals first, as this took years of preparation, hard work, and dedication to get accepted into this Doctorate Program."

"I wish the entire class of 2020 the warmest wishes, as I am absolutely devastated to not join them in November. As the opportunity has been passed to my first runner up, to attend Miss USA, I wish her the best of luck and know she will represent Wyoming well.”

Lexi Revelli will be replacing Katie on grounds that she was adjudged as the first runner-up at the Miss Wyoming 2020 competition in which Katie won the top title. Miss Wyoming USA’s Instagram page announced the news and introduced Lexi as a participant to compete for the title at Miss USA 2020.

The page wrote on October 23, “Hello! My name is Lexi Revelli and I will be the new representative for Wyoming at this year’s Miss USA telecast! Katie Bozner served the state of Wyoming well in her role as Miss Wyoming USA, but due to her academic obligations in her first semester of optometry school, she is unable to miss a week of classes and labs to compete at Miss USA."

"As her first runner up, I have accepted the title of Miss Wyoming USA. I, and all the Future Productions titleholders, wish Katie all the best in her academic endeavors. Be sure to tune in to the FYI Network on Monday, November 9th for the 2020 Miss USA Live Telecast!” Now as she would be replacing Katie here is what we need to know about her.

Who is Lexi Revelli?

Lexi Revelli is extremely excited to feature in one of the top-notch beauty pageants in the USA. The 26-year-old is a certified foot zone practitioner with expertise in muscle testing and a licensed esthetician. She is passionate about teaching and promoting holistic health. The young woman believes in the power of healing through natural resources. While Lexi is now part of the Miss USA title race, she is not new to the world of the beauty pageant. Lexi has been reportedly participating in the Miss USA competition for the past nine years. She elaborated on how beauty pageants have always inspired her and helped her cope with hurdles and losses.

“All of life’s obstacles have led me to this exact moment. This isn’t the conventional path I envisioned for my journey to the Miss USA stage, having just found out that I would take over the state title two short weeks prior to heading to Memphis, but something about it seems just right and where I am meant to be,” she added as reported by site Angelopedia.
