Lana Del Rey is back on TV after nine years and this time, she appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ to perform ‘Let Me Love You Like A Woman’ from her upcoming album ‘Chemtrails Over the Country Club’. Rey, known for her charming vocals and an innate melancholic warmth in her songs delivers true to her signature style. But why is the ‘Summertime Sadness’ being trolled on Twitter for dying her hair black?

Some Twitter users believe that Lana dyed her hair black because she was bullied for her blonde hair. A user said, “I can’t believe y’all bullied Lana into dying her hair dark again lmaooo!” Another said, “Nah I’m so glad Lana dyed her hair to a darker color cause the blonde was hideous and only looked good in the interview magazine photoshoot.”

Lana's fans believe that the singer’s black hair holds more meaning than that. A fan said, “so Lana dyed her hair blonde for COCC music video bc it talks about her family and her siblings and her origins... omg she’s about to get personal and deliver.”

Her fans have also praised her aesthetic stating, “I love how Lana has always managed to maintain some of that classic, golden age look in her aesthetic. The big, beautiful dark hair and black leather jacket.” A similar tweet read, “lana looks ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUSSSSS THAT HAIR?!?! her hair hasn’t looked that good in YEARS, probably since like 2012/13. i’m in awe. i’ll forgive her for performing that song. she ate.”

A user noted, “Every time Lana releases anything new, there’s always a stan who makes fun of her weight, lip fillers, hair color. honesty, shut the f**k up. y’all never were there for her music if her appearance is what is hindering you for liking her music.”
