Why is Brad Pitt worried about Angelina Jolie hiring daughter Vivienne? Girl, 15, set to assist mom on Broadway
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brad Pitt is concerned after his ex-wife Angelina Jolie hired their teen daughter to assist her while producing the musical adaptation of 'The Outsiders' for Broadway, a source revealed.
Though the 15-year-old girl is passionate about her creative journey, the actor worries about her wondering if Jolie is attempting "to drive a wedge between him and his daughter," reported OK Magazine.
Does Brad Pitt see Vivienne Jolie-Pitt?
A source told Page Six in October 2022 that the 'Fight Club' actor has "limited" and "strained" connection to all his children despite having joint custody and it is unclear whether the actor gets to spend more time with Vivienne.
"There was a significant change made in the custody agreements based on an extremely detailed decision made by the judge. Brad was just trying to have more time with his kids — and it has been clear that Angie has done everything possible to prevent this," the insider explained at the time.
"It’s no secret that Angie’s always trying to make sure the kids are Team Mom," another source claimed recently.
"She’s a master manipulator when it comes to the children taking sides," the insider added.
A third source claimed that the 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' actor has "lost so much time with his kids" since his split from Jolie in 2016 and noted with hope that "it's never too late to rebuild those relationships."
Vivienne's role as an assistant on the Broadway musical
Jolie spoke of her daughter Vivienne that she is not focused on being the center of attention but is interested in being a "support to other creatives."
"She’s very thoughtful and serious about theater and working hard to best understand how to contribute," said the actress.
"Of course, Brad is happy that Vivienne’s found something she’s passionate about, but he’s worried that he may lose her in the process," said the source.
"Brad and Vivienne have always had a special connection, which really gets under Angelina’s skin," the source added.
Pitt shares six children Maddox, 22, Pax, 19, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 17, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15 with his estranged ex-wife Jolie.
The 59-year-old actor was worried the 'Maleficient' actress would "stop at nothing to get what she wants — which is to take the children away from him," said an insider.
"He’s convinced that all of her actions are retaliatory. They can’t resolve things peacefully," the insider added of their legal battles.
