LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: During a livestream, Felix Legyel, also known as xQc, a popular Twitch streamer, made a staggering revelation that he does not pay his Twitch moderators. While engaged in a 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2' gameplay with fellow streamer Kai Cenat, they had several discussions about their gaming life. Cenat suddenly asked whether xQc is paying his Twitch moderators.

xQc is widely recognized as one of the most prominent game streamers, with an impressive following of over 11.4 million on Twitch and millions more across other social media platforms. Read on if you're curious to learn about xQc's response to Cenat's question.

Why xQc doesn’t pay his Twitch moderators

xQc had an audio chat with his fellow Twitch streamer Cenat. While playing, Cenat questioned xQc if he paid his moderators. After a little hesitation, xQc replied, “I don’t want it to become weird, Listen, there are creative reasons. It wouldn’t be that much of a setback to pay them, right? But it could become weird and shit. It could become dramatic.”

xQc continued saying, “What if they don’t like the channel anymore? They'll be modding, but they won’t like me anymore. They’d be doing it for the money. Then it becomes kind of weird because I’m trying to try something creative and then they hate it, so it goes against the whole [point] of it.” To which Cenat replied, “I feel you,” adding, “Y’all are volunteering to do this shit for free!”

‘These guys are so selfish’

One YouTube user commented, “It's one thing to not pay your mods if thats your rule/principle fine whatever, but the way kai was talking about it was just plain disrespectful to them smh.” While another said, “Imagine having an extremely large stream and you stream for HOURS (most cases longer than the hours of a full time job) and you expect your mods to be there all stream but don’t want to pay them. Actually sickening to me. A real flex would be having 10 mods and paying all of them 15 and hour. :)”. One wrote, “These guys are so selfish and so full of themselves. "Your payment is being able to mod for me and be in my holy presence".”
