'Bachelor in Paradise' star Kylee Russell broke up with Aven Jones and informed her followers with an emotional message on social media

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: Kylee Russell and Aven Jones were still dating after the show ended, according to the "Where are they now?" montage at the end of 'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 9's finale. However, their breakup was announced less than 24 hours later, and the reason was infidelity.

On December 9, just a day after the 'BiP' finale aired on ABC, Kylee took to her Instagram stories to share a brief yet hard-hitting message.

She wrote, "Following our relationship announcement yesterday, I want to thank my God he did not allow me to live another day in the dark. In the last 24 hours I have been grasping with the fact that one of the most important relationships in my life has dissolved due to multiple infidelities."

She further added, "This is not just a show but my real life and for the foreseeable future I will be in a time of healing and trying to put the puzzle pieces of my life back together. Please respect my privacy at this time. Love you all. - Kylee."

Even though there have been no comments from Aven's side, Bachelor Nation can't seem to keep calm. On X, one surprised person wrote, "Oops that was fast," while another chimed in, "he’s boring AND a cheater??"

Another quipped, "The dms must have came pouring in because just last night she still had pictures with him on her page." A fourth X user added, "Why did aven even bother to post his post on ig yesterday, surely this all didn’t come happen today." 

Another person was not as understanding, writing, "Perhaps that’s a good reason not to push an engagement to someone you’ve only known for a month."  One shocked 'BiP' fan wrote, "Whaaaat??? Thought they just moved in together?"

One user tweeted, "He seemed like a player I’m not surprised. She should have left him the moment he didn’t want to commit."

Another added, "I had a feeling Aven had serious commitment issues. I feel bad for Kylee, then again, I am glad they did not leave the show engaged. She deserves better and will find better."

On Season 9 of 'BiP,' Kylee and Aven had an instant connection, and they didn't care who knew it. Kylee stressed in her introduction how anxious she was to meet Aven, who she said liked her Instagram photographs frequently and had even sent her a fire emoji in response to one especially intriguing picture.

Following their first date in the first week in Paradise, Kylee and Aven were almost inseparable. The two appeared to be on the verge of getting engaged.

However, at the 'BiP' finale, which aired on December 7, Aven said, "I need more outside of this before I take that step right now." Despite some opposition from Kylee, who wanted an on-air engagement, the two eventually departed the program as a pair, but before a proposal could take place.

According to a month-long gap in posts on both Kylee and Aven's Instagram accounts, 'Bachelor in Paradise' was shot in June of this year. Reality Steve also stated that the show was shot for roughly two and a half weeks, beginning in early June.

Since then, Aven and Kylee have liked every post made by the other without fail, which appears to be typical relationship behavior. Kylee has also shared numerous adorable images with Aven on her Instagram page since Season 9 of the show debuted.
