Why did Kroy Biermann file for divorce from 'RHOA' star Kim Zolciak again? Ex-NFL pro demands sole custody of children
ROSWELL, GEORGIA: Kroy Biermann and 'RHOA' star Kim Zolciak are apparently not meant to be together as the former NFL outside linebacker has once again filed for divorce, due to an “irretrievably broken” marriage.
This comes only three months after both of them had initially filed for divorce before calling off the proceedings in July.
The divorce papers mention that Biermann wants “sole legal and physical custody” of his four children with Zolciak on the same grounds, along with alimony and child support, per TMZ.
What is Kroy Biermann doing now?
Biermann is content to lead a retired life now. He has several real estate assets to his name, reportedly including a house in Montana, one in Atlanta, and a third in New York.
He is estimated to have a net worth of approximately $7 million in 2023. Biermann is fond of cars and sports a lavish collection of vehicles, including a Ford, a Chevrolet, a Toyota, and a Range Rover.
Why did Kim Zolciak leave 'RHOA'?
Zolciak abruptly quit Bravo's hit show 'RHOA' in the middle of Season 5. According to her version, she could no longer withstand the soaring stress and the hostile environment of the show as a pregnant woman.
During the course of one of the episodes, castmate Sheree Whitfield pulled her wig. There was also constant friction with the other members of the cast.
The production team of the show, however, has always maintained that Zolciak was fired from the show owing to differences, and did not quit out of her own accord.
She clarified this in 2012 with a tweet as she said, "I definitely was NOT fired from RHOA I can guarantee u that!!! My spinoff last year was a 1 time thing."

Why did Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann reconcile after first filing for divorce 3 months ago?
Zolciak and Biermann separately filed divorce petitions last May and things between the married couple quickly went downhill from there on.
Zolciak accused Biermann of smoking weed, of being a bad influence on their children, and also of being afflicted with a serious gambling addiction.
At that time, the couple owed over $1 million to the IRS. Police visited their home multiple times as they fought and hurled abuse at one another.
Zolciak and Biermann had an unexpected change of heart in July when they decided to withdraw their divorce applications.
They reconciled with each other for the sake of their children and were admittedly said to be getting along for the moment. However, it did not last, as is evident.
Who is Kroy Biermann?
Biermann is a 37-year-old American footballer who was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
He also played college football in Montana, where he is originally from. He first met Zolciak at a Dancing Stars of Atlanta charity event. After eleven years of marriage, Biermann and Zolciak filed for divorce earlier this year.
