Why did Jennifer Coolidge choose not to have children? Actress admits she's ‘very, very immature’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Coolidge has finally revealed the reason why she decided not to have children. In a new interview, the 'White Lotus' star also talked about her dating life and her experience living with Eddie Kaye Thomas as a roommate.
“I’m very, very immature. I think that has kept me from having children because I’m sort of a child. Maybe if I had kids, I would’ve had to have grown up,” Coolidge told British GQ as she graced the magazine's cover. The 61-year-old star also believes that her dating choices also contributed somewhat to her decision, as she noted, “I’ve never had, like, a laid-back boyfriend that was just full of joy, you know? Like, someone who laughs at all your shortcomings. That’s never who I choose for myself.”

‘So cool, so hot’
The ‘Legally Blonde’ actress went on to share her time with Thomas in Los Angeles years ago. She said, “I wasn’t the love of his life. He had girlfriends. My bedroom was across the hallway from his,” before adding, “I’m single. My way of talking myself into a different job is like, well, it could be romance, or it could be, you know, a whole different group of friends. Cool things could come out of it.”

Meanwhile, Coolidge as a cover girl has been hugely appreciated online as a fan of hers commented, “She is the moment.” Another fan said, “Omg it’s my queen you’re eating this up.” The third one shared, “Looks like she’s about to drop the coolest hip-hop album we have ever seen.” The fourth one added, “So cool, so hot, so Jennifer Coolidge.”
'I think people liked that I was the underdog'
This comes after earlier this year, Coolidge gave an interview to PEOPLE, where she talked about her success and stated, “I think people liked that I was the underdog. I played a lot of strange women, and people were amused by the comedies I've done. Then Mike White put me in The White Lotus and it was a drama and comedy at the same time — I never really had that.”
The Golden Globe Award-winning actress continued, “Something happened this awards season. I don't know if they just played clips of me so many times on the Internet or Instagram, but it doesn't matter what disguise I have on, I can be wearing a frog costume with a helmet and people know it's me.”

“I was recently walking in the North End of Boston, and I couldn't make it down the street. I think it's so interesting. I guess it's the Internet. I don't know — or maybe I have a weird walk,” Coolidge remarked.
