So, let's know more about Sylvester's parents.
Who are Sylvester Stallone's parents?
The ‘Creed’ star was born to Frank Stallone Sr. and Jackie Stallone in 1946 in New York. Reports have said that his father was a hairdresser, who also authored a book, titled – ‘Stewart Lane’. Besides, the Italian-American man also played a brief role in his son’s first film, ‘Rocky’. Frank reportedly died in July 2011. His cause of death was prostate cancer.
The 76-year-old actor’s mother was Jackie Stallone, who was an astrologer. She was more popular than her ex-husband as she had appeared on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. She died in September 2020. At the time, her other son Frank, who is also an actor, shared the news via social media. He wrote, “This morning my brothers and I lost our mother Jackie Stallone. She was the mother to four children, Tommy, Sylvester, Frankie, and my late sister Toni Ann. She was a remarkable woman working out every day full of spunk and fearless.”

He continued, “She died in her sleep as she had wished. It was hard not to like her, she was a very eccentric and flamboyant person. Her mind was as sharp as a razor till the day she died. She never wore a mask a true revolutionary gal.” He added, “My brother Sylvester took care of her like a Queen for all of her life. I will never be able to call my mom again or have her yell at me about why I never got married. But we all loved her and her spirit to survive and prevail. I'll miss you always mommy.”
A look at Sylvester Stallone relationship with his parents
Not much is out in public about Stallone’s childhood. But in 2021 on his daughters’ podcast ‘Unwaxed’, ‘The Expendables 4’ actor reportedly shared, “My parents weren't exactly brought up like stellar human beings.” He also revealed that as a child, he spent most of his time at an old age home after being “left there" by his parents.
“My average friends were about 90 [years old]. At the time, it wasn't a big deal. But when you look back at it, it wasn't exactly a smart choice,” Stallone noted. He added, “In fairness to myself, I wasn't raised in the right way. My brain has always been flipped sideways.” Yet when Jackie died, Stallone paid her a very moving tribute to her by reportedly writing, “RIP Jackie Stallone. A mother who has always believed in and encouraged her sons. She was the n. 1 fan of Sly and Frank. She will be remembered forever for her charisma and unconditional love.”
