LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The View’ host Sunny Hosting is grieving the loss of an extremely close friend. Sunny shared the devastating piece of news with all her followers, pleading with them to be kind and take care of each other. The host of the daytime talk show was at a loss for words but eventually managed to compose herself and share the news with her followers.

Sunny took to social media to share the news and made a small post on social media to honor her friend. While describing in some detail, Sunny mentioned the unpredictability of life and how no one is promised a tomorrow in this world. She was inconsolable but managed to share her heartfelt thoughts with her followers. 

‘We aren’t promised tomorrow’

Sunny, captioned her Instagram​ post, “One of my dearest friends Robert Gonzalez passed away on Sunday. 57 years young. His life partner and husband John just called me to share the news. Needless to say, I'm devastated.” She further urged the fans to take care of themselves. She continued, “Take care of each other out here in this world. We aren't promised tomorrow.” 

As she made the post, her ardent followers and supporters sprung to action and showered love in the comments, sending condolences and writing comforting words for the star. One fan said, “Deepest condolences, Sunny. Let's all hold our loved ones even closer,” while another wrote, “Condolences to you & your friend. Let's all hold each other a bit longer & cherish one another.” A third fan consoled her with, “My heartfelt condolences to you and his family,” while another fan simply wrote, “Awww sis. I am so sorry.”

Who was Robert Gonzales?

Robert was 57 years young as per Sunny at the time of his death. He was a ball of light and was always chirpy around people. Robert is one of Sunny’s oldest friends and was said to be her closest confidante. She was distraught on hearing the news of his death. There’s still less known about the impact that Robert left on Sunny’s life but since his death deeply affected ‘The View’ star, their relationship can be traced to a long time ago in the past.

Before sharing the devastating news, Sunny had been appearing on episodes of ‘The View’ with many fans wanting her to become a moderator soon
