BROOKLYN, NEW YORK: The daughter of 'Sopranos' actor John Ventimiglia has died aged 25 just three months after giving birth to a baby girl. The cause of death of Odele has not been revealed. She reportedly died on January 12. Odele's father, John, is best known for appearing as Artie Bucco in the HBO series from 1999 to 2007. 

In a Facebook post, Odele's mother wrote, "Heartbroken to have to post our darling Odele’s funeral notice. Her sister Lucinda and I have been overwhelmed by the messages of support and love we have received, and your remembrances of how cherished Odele was to so many. Odele was greatly loved, and leaves a huge hole in our lives. Odele is survived by her sister, Lucinda Ventimiglia, mother, Belinda Cape, father John Ventimiglia, and her beloved daughter Shiloh."

Who was Odele Ventimiglia?

Not much is known about Odele's personal life and she kept her social media accounts private. The Daily Mail reported that she previously went to high school at New York's Institute for Collaborative Education. The institute specializes in career-oriented programs and also provides students with on-the-job training with a local employer. 

A GoFundMe has been set up for Odele's baby, Shiloh's future education costs. "With the loss of our darling Odele, we are fundraising to help Shiloh with future education costsm," the page says. $55,826 USD had been raised of the $50,000 goal at the time of writing this article.

'She leaves that beautiful baby'

Social media users said they are "sad to hear" about the tragedy, with one of them saying, "So sad. She leaves that beautiful baby behind." Another said, "Genuinely sad to hear though, this is too soon, this could be one of us under coincidental circumstances". "Remember when we'll know people died in 3's ? Now people are just dropping. I can't keep up. It's tragic!" said one user. 

"This is bad..how long are they going to cover up all these sudden deaths in young people," one user said, while another wrote, "That’s so sad. Really starting to get old, all these young people just dropping. Wish there was a way to fix this".

"Oh Belinda, I send condolences and much love to you all. May her memory always be a blessing," a user commented on Belinda's Facebook post. "We are so sorry to hear this news. Sending condolences your way as well as lots of love. You and your family will be in our prayers," one user wrote, while another said, "I cannot imagine the heartache you feel at this time. My heart goes out to you and the family."
