Who went home on ‘Traitors’ Season 4 tonight? Lisa Rinna kills in plain sight during ‘Black Banquet’
If there's something certain on 'The Traitors', it is the undeniable fact that appearances can be woefully deceptive. The recently aired seventh episode of 'The Traitors' Season 4 presented the unique banquet that was organized with the sole motive of murdering in plain sight! Although Alan Cumming had provided the antidote, no one could prevent the subsequent murder of one Faithful contestant.
Heading into the 'Black Banquet', the group of contestants vying for the top prize of $250,000 were all decked up in their finest garments, with Lisa Rinna having fashioned herself as the ultimate show stopper. As described by Parade, Yam Yam Arocho, who happened to be a Faithful, was the first one to be killed in plain sight on the reality television show. Arocho's time on the ongoing season had, by then, been far from smooth sailing. He was previously accused of being a Traitor owing to his affinity for saving his own skin and his insistence on getting a Shield.
Moreover, Arocho's tiff with Michael Rapaport didn't do much to help his enterprise on the current season of 'The Traitors'. Throughout the previous episodes, other contestants grew increasingly suspicious of Arocho, particularly because the former 'Survivor' champion was operating as an individual rather than as a team. The moment of reckoning came for Arocho during the banquet when Cumming announced that one of the contestants had been poisoned. Arocho was quick to identify Rinna as the culprit and shouted out that she had kissed him on the cheek. Thereafter, he was pulled out of the banquet while he kept shouting out Rinna's name. Down with the erstwhile survivor!
Decider further mentions that the previously aired episodes saw Rinna escaping banishment by just a single vote. It goes without saying that the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star had a lot of attention drawn to her after becoming the subject of Colton Underwood's suspicion. As the banquet came to pass, Rinna took upon herself the task of murdering in plain sight. She chose Arocho as her unsuspecting victim because she initially believed it wouldn't come back to her.
However, little did she know that Arocho wouldn't go out without a fight and kept shouting her name while being led out. With the rest of the house now having visibly turned against her, Rinna looked up to her fellow traitors, Candiace Dillard Bassett and Rob Rausch, to bail her out of the predicament she found herself in. To her utter surprise, the circumstances weren't in Rinna's favour at all. Rausch, by then, had made up his mind to get rid of Rinna, and that's exactly what he did, using his dagger to finally stab her in the back. With Rinna's exit, the Faithfuls seemed to have scored a major victory at last. 'The Traitors' is exclusively available on Peacock.
