‘The Traitors’ Season 4 just flipped the game and none of us saw these early eliminations coming
The US version of 'The Traitors' has successfully managed to distinguish itself from its British counterpart owing to its sharp and dramatic clashes between contestants. The epic showdowns have also catapulted the CBS show to new heights of fame, thus allowing it to carve out a niche for itself against the background noise of other reality television shows. As the release of 'The Traitors' season four draws nearer, The US Sun recently came out with a report illustrating some of the most curious spoilers from the upcoming fourth installment.
According to the news outlet, a source close to the production team has spilled the intriguing spoilers. The source went on to detail how the tables turned on the reality competition show's latest season, thus ensuring that "respected" gamers were eliminated early in the game. In contrast, a fan-favourite reality TV star was able to hold their own. In the past, former contestants from other popular shows such as 'Survivor' and 'Big Brother' have had somewhat of a monopoly over 'The Traitors' gameplay. However, this season proved to be quite challenging for them.
"The CBS gamers are immediate targets because of their success in the past," revealed the source, further adding, "So the Survivor and Big Brother contestants had the most difficult time. Ian from Big Brother and Natalie from Survivor are two of the earlier boots.” Ian Terry is still remembered for being the youngest contestant ever to win the top spot on 'Big Brother', which he did back in 2012 at the age of twenty-one. His success led to his reality TV career finally taking off, with him subsequently appearing in other shows such as 'Reality Gamemasters' and the 'All Stars' version of 'Big Brother'. On the other hand, Natalie Anderson won big on the twenty-fourth season of 'Survivor', known as 'Blood vs Water'.
Moving on, the fourth season of the Peacock show will also feature a few breakout stars, looking forward to reviving their ebbing career. The source further explained, "Stephen Colletti was a standout surprise. He was often forgotten about or underestimated (by the cast), and he makes it very far into the show. Stephen is going to be the Dylan Efron of this season, the handsome breakout star. And he thinks this could be a big resurgence for his acting and TV career." Lastly, Travis Kelce's mother, Donna Kelce, was quite a formidable contender on the show. The source also opened up about her, "The cast gravely underestimated Donna. They thought she’d be this kooky older lady who had no idea what was going on since she’s newer to the TV world. But she was incredibly sharp, strategic, and led the way on drama and some big decisions."
As per CNET, the complete list of contestants includes Rob Cesternino, Rob Rausch, Yamil "Yam Yam" Arocho, Natalie Anderson, Tiffany Mitchell, Ian Terry, Maura Higgins, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Dorinda Medley, Lisa Rinna, Stephen Colletti, Michael Rapaport, Ron Funches, Eric Nam, Monét X Change, Donna Kelce, Colton Underwood, Mark Ballas, Kristen Kish, Johnny Weir, Tara Lipinski, Porsha Williams, and Caroline Stanbury. 'The Traitors' season four premieres on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET with the first three episodes on Peacock.
