LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The follow-up feature to Netflix's highly regarded and successful historical period drama 'The Last Kingdom,' titled 'The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die,' will continue to follow Uhtred of Bebbanburg as he aspires to unite England after the death of King Edward.
Carnival Films produced the film, and NBCUniversal distributed it worldwide. Edward Bazalgette directed the film, and it is based on Bernard Cornwell's novel 'The Saxon Stories.' Martha Hillier wrote the film's sequel finale for Netflix. Nigel Marchant, Gareth Neame, and Mat Chaplin produced the film, with executive producers Alexander Dreymon and Martha Hillier.

Alexander Dreymon plays Uhtred of Bebbanburg, Mark Rowley plays Finan, Arnas Fedaravicius plays Sihtric, and Rod Hallet plays Constantin in the feature film. Harry Gilby plays Thelstan, Ross Anderson plays Domnal, Ingrid Garca-Jonsson plays Aldhelm, Cavan Clerkin plays Father Pyrlig, Tom Christian plays Dunstan, Ewan Horrocks plays lfweard of Wessex, Zak Sutcliffe plays Edmund, Nick Wittman plays Eamon, and Alexandra Tóth plays the lady-in-waiting.
'The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die' will be out on Netflix on April 14.
