LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A highly anticipated TV series based on the popular video game franchise 'Fallout' is poised to debut this summer. The narrative unfolds in an alternate history, branching off from reality after World War 2 in 1945.

At its core, the game that inspires the upcoming Prime Video series explores a world shaped by rapid nuclear advancements following the war, sparking a resource conflict between the European Commonwealth and Middle Eastern nations.

As global tensions escalate, a catastrophic nuclear exchange between the United States and China transforms America into the post-apocalyptic landscape depicted in the 'Fallout' world.

One of the series' key strengths lies in its iconic characters, who have garnered a dedicated fan following over time.

As the series adaptation prepares for its premiere this month, it's worth taking a closer look at these memorable figures from the world of 'Fallout'.

Ghouls are a race of posthuman beings from the post-apocalyptic 'Fallout' world. They are the survivors of the global nuclear holocaust and have undergone severe mutations due to radiation exposure.

The tragedy has deformed their physical appearance into a zombie-like appearance but have gained conditional immortality.

In the upcoming series, American actor Walton Goggins,  renowned for his roles in TV series 'The Shield' and 'Justified', appears as The Ghoul who survives the wasteland as a Bounty Hunter. Amazon describes this character as pragmatic and ruthless.

In the series, viewers will witness him concealing a mysterious past, which will add a layer of intrigue to his character.

The Ghoul is immortal as he has lived on for centuries, although ghouls can be killed by weaponry, they may also have the ability to rise from the dead.

In the video game series, Vault Dweller has been an inhabitant of Vault 13, raised by the community and robotic caretakers.

Prime Video introduces Lucy as a peaceful, optimistic, and idealistic character. However, her nature is put to the test when she is forced to the surface to rescue her father.

The 27-year-old 'Belgravia' star Ella Purnell takes on the responsibility of portraying the Vault Dweller in Prime Video's soon-to-release series.

He believes in the Brotherhood's mission to restore law and order to the Wasteland and is driven to go to any lengths necessary to accomplish their goals.

It must be noted that Brotherhood of Steel faces enmity from Ghouls. The animosity from the Brotherhood initially arose when they suffered significant losses of troops to the mutated beings.

However, it is later found out that the Brotherhood considers ghouls to be abominations, refusing to recruit them into their ranks and resorting to shooting them on sight. Furthermore, the Brotherhood has been actively seeking to wipe out the community.
