LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The 'Fallout' trailer has caught the attention of fans with its stunning locations, filmed in various parts of the USA and South Africa.

The announcement of the series came in 2020 when Amazon acquired the rights for its production. This post-apocalyptic series, based on a beloved video game franchise of the same name, has been a highly anticipated live-action project of this year.

Developed by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the series stars Walton Goggins as Cooper Howard/The Ghoul, with Ella Purnell, Kyle MacLachlan, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Aaron Moten joining the cast later on.

Filming of 'Fallout' began on July 5, 2022, in New Jersey, New York, Las Vegas, and Utah. The production then relocated to South Africa and captured scenes in Namibia along the Skeleton Coast.

The Skeleton Coast is the northern stretch of Namibia's Atlantic coast and is known as 'The Land God Made in Anger' by indigenous people. Its name originated from the abundance of whale and seal bones that used to cover the shoreline.

With its diverse range of settings, 'Fallout' promises to be a visually enthralling experience.

The upcoming Prime Video series portrays a post-apocalyptic world resulting from a nuclear conflict in an alternate version of Earth.

This alternate history timeline sees rapid advancements in nuclear technology post World War 2, giving rise to a retrofuturistic society and sparking a resource war.

In this harsh reality, citizens are forced to inhabit underground bunkers for protection against radiation, mutated creatures, and marauding bandits.

The official synopsis reads, "Based on one of the greatest video games of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them above."
