Not everybody can handle rejection well. At the tender age of 14, Hailey Green stepped on the stage of 'The Voice'  Season 19 and gave a breathtaking performance to 'Soulshine' by The Allman Brothers Band. Although the coaches loved her raspy voice unfortunately the teenager didn't get a chair turn from any of the coaches.

But the coaches, especially Blake Shelton urged her not to give up and asked her to work on her pitch and return to the show and try again. Hailey took Blake's advice seriously and worked on her pitch and honed her vocals to perfection. During her time away, Hailey also experienced a transformation in her life. She became the only female linebacker on her school's football team, while also pursuing her passion for singing. She began performing at various giggs every week, and admitted that she was glad that the coaches didn't pick her last time she auditioned for the show as she got to grow by leaps and bounds in the past two years.

Hailey also transformed externally. She got a new haircut and added few new piercings on her body. She finally felt that she was ready to step back on the stage of 'The Voice' again and auditioned for season 21. With her newfound confidence and growth, Hailey bravely returned to the stage and gave another exceptional performance to 'Home' as she related very strongly to the lyrics of the song. The coaches were once again blown by her vocals.

Despite her amazing performance none of the coaches turned their chairs, as we were beginning to fear that Hailey's comeback story might once again fall flat, Blake came to her rescue by turning his chair at the very last second of her performance. Once the coaches turned to look at her, they were all pleasantly surprised to see that a 15-year-old gave such a breath-taking performance.

The coaches began showering her with praises and declared that she had a bright future and would go very far in the music industry thanks to her grit and determination alongside her talent. Since no other coaches turned for her aside from Blake, Hailey by default was added to Team Blake. The country music legend began to gloat over his strategy to get Hailey on his team by waiting until last second so that he wouldn't have any competition from other coaches.

Just like Blake even fans were pretty happy to see Hailey return to the show and join Team Blake! A fan tweeted, "Hailey is the BEST @blakeshelton #VoicePremiere." "Hailey Green is back! I love it when artists work, grow and come back stronger than ever! #VoicePremiere," wrote a fan. Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, "I’m glad Hailey came back because it seems like all the young people they have been seeing they say something about there voice growing as they grow. #TheVoice."
