Who bought Charles Manson murder house? LaBiancas' LA home sells for $1.9M
A 1920s two-bedroom Los Angeles mansion where Charles Manson and his cult "family" murdered supermarket chain owner Leno LaBianca and his wife Rosemary, who ran a clothing business, in the wee hours of August 10, 1969, has finally been sold. Manson along with several other members from his circle had sneaked into 3311 Waverly Drive which belonged to the LaBiancas, a middle-aged couple they didn't know and had never met before. The couple was first tied up and after a number of atrocities meted out to them, were stabbed dozens of times and when police finally arrived at the scene of the crime, they found Leno with a carving fork jutting out of his stomach.
The murderous group scribbled the words "Rise" and "Death to Pigs" on the walls of the home and "Helter Skelter" was scrawled on the refrigerator door. It was a reference to the Beatles song from the album that Manson interpreted as a war cry of the Blacks who were going to go up against white people and defeat them. A night before the LaBiancas were killed, Manson's followers under his direction had murdered director Roman Polanski's wife Sharon Tate who was 8 1/2 months pregnant by stabbing her 16 times at her home on 10050 Cielo Drive. Her friends Jay Sebring, Wojciech Frykowski, and Abigail Folger were also murdered that night at the home Tate and Polanski were renting at the time.

Who bought the Charles Manson murder home in 2021?
Five decades ago, the Los Feliz neighborhood witnessed some of the most horrendous serial killings. The home which belonged to the LaBiancas on 3311 Waverly Drive has had a couple of buyers in the past five decades. Prior to the recent sale, it was owned by actor, paranormal investigator, and star of Travel Channel's 'Ghost Adventures' Zak Bagans. He had purchased the home in 2019 for $1.89 million.
Bagans had planned to shoot a project at the property but he dropped the idea shortly after, out of respect for the LaBiancas. He attempted to sell the house for $2.2 million a year later. In Bagans' words, the home was "a beautiful place with a very dark history" and there was a "very, very strong energy" around the entire property. After sitting on the market for nearly nine months, a mystery buyer purchased it for approximately $1.9 million.
The new owner wishes to keep a low profile.
The property is spread across 1600 sq. ft. and it's a two-bed, two-bath home that comes with a pool and a driveway. The home also offers breathtaking views of the Silver Lake Hills and Downton from the front and back views of Griffith Park, Glendale and the San Gabriel Mountains. The home features a massive living room with a gas fireplace and Italian tile floors which leads to a formal dining area. The home is surrounded by adequate greenery including mature fruit trees which are ideal for privacy. The gated property was renovated in March 2019, four months before Bagans made the purchase.
