Sofia Richie has found a new love interest. The 22-year-old model was seen being very close to her new boyfriend, entrepreneur Matthew Morton, while out for dinner on November 3. Exclusive photos of the pair show the model passionately kissing the 27-year-old Cha Cha Matcha founder at a restaurant named Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills.
This is the first time that the couple has been seen kissing after dating rumors sparked between Matthew and Richie in October. This comes after Richie's split from ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star Scott Disick in August. In the photos accessed by Daily Mail, Richie had her blonde hair tied with a big clip and she donned an alluring pastel and frosty makeup on for her night out with her new love and some friends.
Richie, ‘The Flip It Like Disick’ star, also stood out from the group as she wore a bright orange sweater which seemed totally suitable for the fall. The model complemented the look with dark slacks and a black crossbody bag.
On the other front, her boyfriend Matthew donned a snazzily sporty look. He wore a black and off white country style baseball jacket with a white shirt and dark slacks as he seemed to be cozy and gluing to his girlfriend's side. The New York University graduate, Matthew completed the look with a black and white cap. The couple seemed to have a gala time with a group of friends at the Japanese restaurant where they locked lips.
Daily Mail reported that model Richie's family "approve" of her dating her new beau Morton. However, a source reportedly said that Sofia isn't "looking for anything serious with anyone" at the current moment. The source elaborated: "She's not going to rush into anything, but Matthew's a cool guy and they hit it off. They have been texting for a few weeks and decided to go out. She's having fun and isn't looking for a relationship. She enjoyed her dinner date with him but it's super casual," the source said to Daily Mail.

Sofia Richie’s new love interest Matthew Morton is a handsome, successful entrepreneur. The 27-year-old is the son of Hard Rock Cafe founder Peter Morton and brother of Pink Taco founder Harry Morton. Sadly, the two died last year in 2019, Screen Rant reported.
Coming to his professional career, Matthew co-founded beverage company Cha Cha Matcha. His company specializes in matcha, green tea, and other functional beverages and the idea to start it up came after Matthew tasted matcha powder that his friends brought back from a trip to Japan.
He reportedly takes his career as a Matcha CEO very seriously and his family has inspired him to do more in the beverage and restaurant business. Daily Mail quoted Matthew who mentions from his website, “My family has been in food and beverage now for 4 generations. That’s definitely been an inspiration for me. Walking with my dad in his restaurants and hotels was always something I enjoyed. Being young and seeing all of these big operations as I grew up was really special. It’s always been a dream of mine to have a hotel or restaurant. Food and beverage were one of the many things I was interested in growing up.” The New York University graduate got a business degree from college and imbibed an interest in creative fields too like art, film, music, and literature.
US Weekly reported quoting a source, “Matt grew up with an insane amount of wealth, but always remained grounded. He is a hard worker and wants to prove himself to his dad [Hard Rock Cafe cofounder Peter Morton]. He used to be somewhat of a player and has always surrounded himself with very pretty girls and dated pretty girls. But he’s calmed down a lot and likes Sofia a lot.”
