Tom Hiddleston is going to be a father! Yes, you heard it right. On Wednesday, June 28, at a special screening of the movie ‘Mr Malcolm’s List’, the actor’s fiancée Zawe Ashton stunned the whole world after the British actress debuted her baby bump on the red carpet premiere of her new film.
The premiere, which took place in New York City, saw her making her way down the red carpet in an empire-waist beaded chiffon gown and looking gorgeous as ever. Although Hiddleston did not make an appearance at the event, the actress was joined by the movie’s co-stars, including Theo James, Freida Pinto, Sope Dirisu, and Emma Holly Jones.

The news of pregnancy comes just two weeks after the ‘Loki’ star announced his engagement with the ‘The Marvels’ actress. In an interview with Los Angeles Times, Hiddleston stated that he is “very happy” to be engaged to the love of his life. Who is Zawe Ashton?
Born on July 25, 1984, Zawe Ashton is the eldest of three children and attended the Anna Scher Theater School at the age of six. She was a member of the National Youth Theatre and did a lot of plays in her younger years. Meanwhile, she earned a degree in acting at the Manchester School of Theatre.
Without any guesses, she made her acting debut on stage at a very young age and went on to become a force to be reckoned with on television. At the age of 10, she made her debut on TV and appeared in a cameo role in ‘Game On’. After her debut, she made prominent appearances in several British TV shows such as ‘The Demon Headmaster’, ‘Holby City’, ‘Case Histories’, and ‘Doctor Who’. On the other hand, she was seen playing the role of Oona in ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ opposite Elisabeth Moss and Yvonne Strahovski.
Her film credits include the likes of ‘Weekender’, ‘Nocturnal Animals’, ‘Greta’, and ‘Velvet Buzzsaw’.
As far as her relationship with Hiddleston is concerned, the actors met each other for the first time in 2019 while preparing for a theatre production titled ‘Betrayal’, where they played a married couple named Robert and Emma. In August 2019, the duo sparked relationship rumors when they were seen together enjoying a game of tennis at the US Open.
On the other hand, it was reported in September 2021 that the rumored couple vacationed together in Ibiza, Spain. They made their red carpet debut at the 2021 Tony Awards and were seen posing together for the cameras.
The couple got engaged in March 2022 and Hiddleston confirmed his engagement to Ashton on June 14.

While speaking to Vogue about the actress’ look, Bilenko said, “It was such a privilege to work on this dress for Zawe. She is such an incredible actress and the way she carries a look on the red carpet is unparalleled.”
Hiddleston will be next seen reprising the role of Loki in the second season of the Disney+ series, while Ashton will be seen making her MCU debut with ‘The Marvels’ opposite Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Iman Vellani (Ms Marvel), and Tayonah Parris (Monica Rambeau).
