Who is Venus Williams dating? Tennis legend, 43, seen training at Rafael Nadal's Academy after early Wimbledon exit
MALLORCA, SPAIN: Tennis legend Venus Williams, 43, is still going after milestones. After receiving a wildcard entry into the Canadian Open 2023, the senior Williams sister has been seen training hard in another tennis behemoth Rafael Nadal’s training academy in Mallorca in Spain. Upon her arrival there, she was welcomed by the sister of the 22-time Grand Slam champion, per Tennis World USA.
While Venus' sister, Serena Williams, 41, decided to hang up her boots, the senior Williams is still ready to face challenges. She was a wild card entry into the Wimbledon earlier this month but was defeated by the future semifinalist Elina Svitolina 6-4 6-3. Venus, who has 14 major doubles titles beside her name, is pumped up to make a memorable comeback to the court.

Who is Venus Williams dating?
As of 2023, Williams is currently not dating anyone. In fact, Williams has been single since 2019. Following her split from Nicholas Hammond, the seven-time Grand Slam singles winner is enjoying her singlehood to the fullest. In an Instagram Live session in 2021, when a fan asked her about her dating life, Williams replied candidly, "I'm undateable." She also shared that even though she has been approached by many she has decided to remain single.
However, she has tried her hand at love a few times. Williams dated the publishing heir Nicholas Hammond from 2017 to 2019, as per Tennis World USA. Before that, she dated Cuban model Elio Pis from 2012 and 2015 when Pis was hired as a model for her clothing brand. Earlier, she dated golfer Hank Kuehne from 2007 to 2010.
‘I've had a single life for a long time’
In a 2022 interview with Glamour UK, Williams shared her views on singlehood, saying that she has been single for a long time and it’s easy to get stuck in the mindset. She said, "I've had a single life for a long time and I think it's really easy to get stuck in a single life and sometimes – at least for me – harder to get out," and added that she is “working” on it. "That's probably something I'm working on now and it makes you think about yourself and what you want and how to behave. It's definitely a lot of self-thought that goes into it," remarked the former number one.
She also stressed that dating has never been quite her “thing” and that she is content with going with the flow. "When life changes, you've got to know when to change," she said poignantly. "You can't hold on to either a relationship or the singleness."
Williams added, "Balance is important and burnout is real; you have to find your balance and for me, that's about taking moments every day," before noting, "[At] the end of the day, I have my two hours of quiet and nobody's there, no one's talking and it's just my moment.”
She further continued, "I guess when you have kids you could still have that after you put them in bed, and then you might have a husband or significant other. I don't know any of this works outside of a single life, but I've got my little routines that work for me!"
