Who is Timothy Olyphant's wife? ‘Justified: City Primeval’ actor has been married to his college sweetheart Alexis Knief for 32 years
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Timothy Olyphant is all set to create magic in the reboot of ‘Justified’. He will be seen once again as Raylan Givens in ‘Justified: City Primeval’ which will premiere on FX on July 18. The new drama is more special for the actor because his youngest daughter has also joined him in it.
Timothy is the father of three beautiful children — Grace Olyphant, Vivian Olyphant, and Henry Olyphant — whom he shares with his wife, Alexis Knief. As per reports, the pair has been married since 1991 after meeting each other at the University of Southern California.
Who is Alexis Knief?
As per some reports, Knief owns a business in the fashion industry and makes handmade bags and accessories. Besides this, not much information is available about her. She does not seem to be active on social media either. Her famous husband once shared what makes them a strong bonded couple.
In 2011, the ‘Santa Clarita Diet’ star told Women’s Health, “You have to be with the right person, and you both have to be willing to do the work, day in and day out, to make it happen.” At the time, he also shared the struggles of being a father. He said, “It f---ing exhausts you! That's how it changes you!”
“My buddy on the show is expecting a baby. I said, ‘Imagine I call you at midnight, and I hang up without saying anything. Then I call you two hours later, and I hang up again. This continues. Oh, and by the way, in between my calls, you're wondering if I'm dead.’ That's what it's like,” Timothy asserted.
‘People can be a little nervous around you’
However, it seems things have changed for the 55-year-old actor as a father. Timothy spoke about his experience of working with his daughter, Vivian. He told Entertainment Weekly, “She did all that bulls--- where she'd write, like, 'favorite Olyphant' on a big board and put my name and her name. I lost in a landslide. Like, a landslide! There was like one Star Wars geek that voted for me… It was terrible!”
Timothy also went on to say, “One of the things about Justified in particular is that, over time, you've earned a little bit of a reputation where perhaps people… can be a little nervous around you, or feel intimidated. We hired the one person, guaranteed, who doesn't feel that way at all. In fact, she's not only not nervous around me, she's kinda over it.”
“She's like, 'Dad, no, stop it. Ugh. God. Leave me alone.' And I'm like, 'I'm the star of the f---ing…!' Do you know what it's like to have to whisper to your daughter, like, 'You can't talk to me like that' on the set of your own show? It's terrible! I was like, 'Nobody talks to me like that!’” the ‘Daisy Jones and The Six’ actor added.
