The show welcomes three contestants each episode and features one 'chaser,' a trivia professional whose challenged to answer the most questions faster than the others. The latest episode of ‘The Chase’ saw Sharath and his teammates go up against Brad Rutter, former ‘Jeopardy!’ star who has won over $5.1 million in-game show earnings. When asked about his plans to spend the money he won, Sharath revealed at the time, “I’d still like to go on a trip to Europe with my family (maybe Italy or Germany!), but the majority of it will probably go towards taxes and college tuition.”

‘Jeopardy!’ has changed since Sharath Narayan left

When Sharath appeared on ‘Jeopardy!’ the great Alex Trebek was still the host. But after his death, Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik have taken over the hosting duties. But Sharath’s impeccable ability to skim through his opponents remains unchanged. On ‘The Chase,’ Sharath got the better of Butter on pop culture questions surrounding topics such as 'The Bachelorette,' Venmo, and Silk Sonic.
