Who is Scooter Braun? Hailey Bieber chimes in as fans speculate if Madison Beer's new diss track is about him
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Scott Samuel "Scooter" Braun or simply Scooter Braun is an American businessman, music executive, and talent manager who has managed A-list musicians like Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, and even Madison Beer.
He was in the news since several reports surfaced that most of Braun’s famous clients had dropped him as a manager.
However, now it looks like Braun’s recent downfall now has a theme song, sung by Beer.
Madison Beer's track might be for Scooter Braun
A dramatic power ballad by Madison Beer, who worked with Braun, was recently released as one of her tracks from a recent album.
Beer alluded to the song's inspiration on TikTok, and Hailey Bieber, the wife of Justin Bieber, Braun's most well-known client, even added her thoughts.
In 'King of Everything', the last track on Beer’s newly released album 'Silence Between Songs', she sings about a fame-hungry person who uses others to gain success, only to watch it all crumble away.
The lyrics of the song include, “Look what you’ve done / Taken advantage of people so young / Ridin’ the high road / On everyone’s lows."
Several speculations fuelled, that the song could be about Beer's former manager Scooter Braun as a result of it's stern lyrics. Additionally, Beer shared a cryptic TikTok that skirted the subject.
Naturally, admirers began to comment, explaining why they believed the song, about a merciless social climber was about Braun, and even Hailey Bieber popped up with her three-words reaction. She simply wrote, “Wellll IIIII THINKKK…. ✨."
It's important to note that Bieber is married to Braun’s best-known client, Justin Bieber.
Other users also commented on Beer's TikTok video. A user wrote, "Does it happen to be someone who is not named after a bike or skateboard but something similar?" The second user wrote, "king of everything is the bestttttt."
The third user wrote,"it's about SCOOTER BRAUN." While the fourth user wrote,"real ones know!"
Why Beer parted ways with Braun?
When she started her singing career in the middle of 2010, Beer was also signed to Braun's management. However, she was unable to release her debut album, 'Life Support', until after she split from Braun in 2021.
In a 2021 interview with The Forty-Five, Beer detailed her reasons for parting ways with Braun. She said, “I hold value and if you can’t see it and don’t want me to have a voice, I am out."
She said, “There are times where I haven’t felt heard, and I think ‘I won’t back down,’ I don’t care how big and scary you are, if you’re the head of a label, or a president. I will not be demeaned.”
