Harry Styles has won hearts with his heldentenor or bari-tenor vocals and his solo songs like ‘Sign Of The Times’, ‘Golden’ and ‘Watermelon Sugar’ spill magic among music lovers. But it's not just music, the 26-year-old, who first made his debut after joining the boy band One Direction, is popular for his flamboyant fashion and just recently clinched the title of the first man to appear solo on the cover of Vogue magazine.

The style czar who makes it difficult to take your eyes off him flaunts tattoos of a Victorian sailor, a rose, a galleon, a mermaid, an anchor, and a palm tree on his shapely torso and has the dates 1967 and 1957 (the respective birth years of his mother and father) engraved on his clavicle. Although his style sense is a joy to witness, controversy seems to have erupted after harsh words from a Fox News clip featuring Raymond Arroyo surfaced online.

What did Harry Styles wear on the Vogue cover?

Pictured in a Gucci frothy, lace-trimmed creation, paired with a double-breasted tuxedo jacket, Styles made heads turn with the help of his personal stylist, Harry Lambert. The imprint of his bold fashion sense from the glossy pages of the December 2020 cover doesn't seem to vanish anytime soon. Shedding light on his love for fashion, he told the magazine, “There’s so much joy to be had in playing with clothes. I’ve never thought too much about what it means — it just becomes this extended part of creating something.”

Not just that, he also wore a Chopova Lowena belted skirt for one snap, a Wales Bonner knitted sweater vest and kilted skirt for another and a custom-made corduroy pants, hand-painted with emblems and featuring a pair of butterflies for a third one.

What is the recent fashion controversy?

Now, recently, a Fox News snippet has gone viral with the Arroyo flagging Styles's dressing sense and making a sarcastic jibe. “Harry Styles, please stick to Armani men's wear or at least pants. The gender-bending wardrobe is not edgy or artistic. You look ridiculous and you're not breaking any new ground. David Bowie did this, decades before you were even conceived. And the perils are really bad.”

No sooner did the video start trending, fans of the singer trolled the anchor for his disgruntled and mean words and slammed him with the hashtag #FoxNewsJerksOffToHarryStyles. “I know this man did not just come for harry styles.... fix your hairline then maybe we can talk,” one posted and another said, “Damn I knew Fox news were clowns but wow they were asking to be attacked for this.”

A third posted, “Fox News is either so desperate for viewers that they are using Harry for clout or are just a bunch of ignorant bigots. probably both. definitely both. #foxnewsjerksofftoharrystyles,” and a fourth added, “If you have a crush on Harry just say that.” A fifth agreed, “Raymond, honey, it's ok we all have a crush on Harry Styles nothing to fret about #foxnewsjerksofftoharrystyles.”
