Who is Patricia Jasmin Rahman?

Marsters and Rahman reportedly dated for almost six years before getting married in a private L.A. civil ceremony on January 14, 2011. Rahman was only 25-years-old then, while Marsters was 48. The couple has more than a two-decade age gap.

Speaking to People magazine about how the two met, Marsters said in 2006, “I met her backstage and got her phone number, but then my jeans were cleaned out by the crew and they threw it out. I’d given her my number, but she took down one digit wrong. It took her six months to call all of the different combinations.”

As per the magazine, Rahman was a student of fashion design from Trier, Germany. Born on April 18, 1986, in Germany, Rahman is also an actor. As per reports, she has learned the craft at acting studios including the Margie Haber Studio, Aaron Speiser Acting Studio, and Anthony Gilardi Acting Studio. She has appeared in films and shows like ‘John Bronco’, ‘Velvet Buzzsaw’, and ‘Michele & Michael's Variety Show’.

Rahman, who also goes by Jasmin Marsters, is a life coach as well. On her website, she writes, “You can live the life of your dreams, be exactly who you are, and receive more love, abundance, and connection than you ever thought possible. I know it's possible and even realistic, because I'm doing that very work for myself, and I'm helping other women do the same. As it turns out, living your dreams is easier than continuing to live under the crushing weight of unfulfilled expectations.”

Marsters and ‘Buffy’

On ‘Buffy’, Marsters has created a legacy for himself. Spike, who was everything from a villain to love interest, to comic relief, is an enduring part of the ‘Buffy’ lore. But last year, in the wake of allegations of abusive behavior and professional misconduct raised against Joss Whedon, Marsters revealed some things about the showrunner.

In an episode of the ‘Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum’ podcast, Marsters revealed Whedon's unsettling reaction to his character's surprise popularity, saying "I remember he backed me up against a wall one day and he was just like, ‘I don’t care how popular you are, kid, you’re dead. You hear me? Dead. Dead!'" Marsters told Rosenbaum that Whedon wasn't joking around, and "was angry at the situation."
